Our IDMinder Luísa spent the very hot month of July in , doing her secondment at ITI - , representing in the exchange program promoted by the LIFEBOTS Exchange project.
With the institute's researchers, she explored the potential of implementing robots in human-populated environments, especially in the healthcare, and education sectors. Focusing on Social and Services Robots, they discussed what were the pain points of different robotic solutions, and the way to adapt those robotic solutions to different applications, promoting the development of working products.🤖

We keep strengthening bonds between academia and industry, working towards an exciting future!

Last Friday was the last day of our IDMinder Sofia in , where she spent a month at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) representing IDMind in the exchange program promoted by the LIFEBOTS Exchange project. As a , she took this opportunity to embrace different views, feedback, culture, challenges, and opportunities to apply in the design of our .
We are excited about the future!

Yesterday our IDMinders Luísa and Sofia went to sunny Oslo to participate in the Co-creation Workshop in Healthcare, that took place in .
It was a great opportunity to have interesting discussions and get feedback from stakeholders and colleagues about our Hospital Robot being developed in the scope of the project, and Elmo a tabletop social robot.

Opportunities, challenges, safety, ethics, social readiness, and many other topics were tackled, in a group effort for the common goal of enhancing our daily lives through robotics.

At we create robots, and we do it for people.

Katherine presented today the work that she has been developing on dementia, emotion, and social robotics and how all could be connected.
In the scope of the LIFEBOTS Exchange project, Katherine came from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology - Trondheim and did her secondment at IDMind for two months.
Gathering people and knowledge from different areas and backgrounds is what IDMind is all about and a vehicle for continuous improvement.

Martin visited us from Technická univerzita v Košiciach in Slovakia, and worked in emotional categorization through image processing.
This exchange of knowledge and experiences continues to be an important factor in our development as a company, as at IDMind we develop robots in Portugal for the world.

This exchange of knowledge and experiences continues to be an important factor in our development as a company, as at IDMind we develop robots in Portugal for the world.

IDMind, together with Anchorage Digital and SEA .AI, were the companies chosen by Lispolis - Polo Tecnológico Lisboa as representatives of the Portuguese entrepreneurial ecosystem for a group of Sebrae that will be present at the Web Summit
