IAFA was pleased to attend the official announcement ceremony for the Barcelos Youth Festival 2026. 💛✨

It was a great moment to come together, celebrate youth participation, and discover what is being prepared for this year’s edition.

Thank you to the Municipality of Barcelos and the Casa da Juventude for the invitation. We look forward to being part of another event that brings young people and the local community together. 🙌

We were happy to take part in Festa das Coletividades 2026, held from 17 to 19 July at Jardim da Avenida da Liberdade in Barcelos! 🎉💛

Over three days, we enjoyed music, dance, sport, gastronomy, activities for children, and many opportunities to connect with local associations and the community.

It was also a great chance to present IAFA’s work, share our projects, and introduce volunteering and intercultural opportunities to everyone who visited us. Thank you to all who stopped by and shared these moments with us! 🌍🙌

A Associação Intercultural Para Todos felicita, orgulhosamente, o nosso Vice-Presidente, Ricardo Jorge Pacheco Coutinho, pela conclusão do Doutoramento em Turismo na Universidade de Vigo.

A sua tese, intitulada “A Importância do Voluntariado Internacional para a Imagem dos Destinos Turísticos: Um Estudo Empírico no Contexto Ibérico”, reforça a importância do voluntariado internacional enquanto agente de transformação pessoal, social e territorial.

Temos um enorme orgulho em ver reconhecido, também no meio académico, um tema que faz parte da missão da IAFA e que promovemos diariamente através dos nossos projetos e voluntários internacionais.
