Hiba contacted us from North Gaza (opposite the Abu Khadra complex) after hearing and spotting puppies trapped inside a deep hole in a destroyed house, with no sign of their mother.
​We immediately went to the site and brought the puppies to our medical point. They were heavily infested with insects, so we treated and cleaned them, and they are now under our care.
​A day later, Hiba called us back to report that the mother had returned to the area. We are currently following up to either bring the mother to join her puppies or return the puppies to her if the site is safe

Rescued from the Nusayrat🐈🙏

A resident brought us this cat after finding him at his workplace.
​The cat is suffering from an eye infection. We examined him and provided the necessary treatment, and he is now under our care and follow-up.

Three months ago, Wiam reached out to us regarding Rex, a dog she cares for near her home, after he developed mange. We brought him to the shelter for examination and treatment, with the plan to return him once fully recovered.
​Throughout his treatment, it was clear how deeply attached Rex is to Wiam’s family, as he struggled to adjust to the shelter environment and the care team.
​Now that Rex has fully recovered, we returned him to Wiam's neighborhood, and we remain in close contact with her to follow up on his progress.

A resident contacted us regarding his cat, which was unable to feed her kittens after giving birth due to a lack of milk production. We agreed to take in the kittens right after birth to assist them.
​We have now received the kittens and placed them with a nursing mother. We are assisting her with formula milk and plan to transfer some of the kittens to another nursing mother to lighten her load and ensure all kittens are properly fed.

During the quail migration season, hunters set up fine mesh nets, which often catch other birds like owls and migratory species.
​Some hunters put these birds up for sale, while others contact us to hand over injured birds. In other cases, we buy the birds ourselves to release them back into nature.
​Today we released an owl back into the wild, and Dodo joined us to set her free. Watch the video here:"
