What is web3 and why it's important ?

Pretty sure you use web2 regular database; mysql, sql server, document db,.. who can change the data ? Anyone who has access to this db, Yuck🤮

With web3 your data are stored in blocks that are connected together, in another word a 'blockchain'

In 'blockchain' once data is written, the only possible way is to modify this data in all blocks ( VMs/PCs,.. ) which means it's impossible to hack or modify the data, and this block becomes in
invalid.

If you own 'something' on blockchain, then it's yours forever, period.

It's a decentralized data, build a trust, ownership, transparency, cost efficient method to replace the out-dated regular database.

Metaverse ? Yes it's built on the top.
