Sakadane sourdough. %100 naturally leavened with our rice and sometimes wheat berry Koji starter (Fermented rice or wheat berry liquid).Made with whole wheat and unbleached, non bromate white flour. A very special Japanese method of fermentation which we’ve incorporated at Mugi Pan. Our milk bread dough, Shoku pan, and sourdoughs are all made using this unique starter. We hope you get the chance to enjoy it some time! It’s been a long time getting here, but well worth it! Here’s to creating community in food education!
