Pizza night and John 6:15-21 tonight with the guys! Some main points:

👑 Jesus had no interest in being king of any nation. He didn’t come to rule any nation or people group, He came to save us. When the crowds wanted Him to be their political king, he fled into solitude with his Father.

🌊 The disciples were upset that Jesus told them to cross the Sea of Galilee and then didn’t calm the waters like He did previously. They were tired and worn out and expected Jesus to make it easy for them. They were wrong. Following Jesus is a tireless pursuit…

✝️ … that comes with every reward and blessing just from our obedience to Him. He appeared to them on the water and said “It’s me. Don’t be afraid.” They did the work to come to Him as best as they could and then He filled the gap. AFTER they did their work.

The work is hard but worth it. He is with us and that’s the full reward.

Tell me you had 20 people serving together without telling me… post team clean up week! Not for exciting photos but the “dirty” work is getting done!!

I was so happy to have dinner with Christopher and his mom today for his day pass, as well as see so many of the guys who have been transferred to Guayama!! These are not check lists. These are human beings who matter. Invest in relationships and see what God does!!
