The afterglow from Friday’s premiere of our final teaser single—heralding the upcoming LP on Babol-Art! Records—is slowly dissolving into a soft, crooked haze.

It was beautiful to share that night with you across two full sets: the first—cleaner, or pretending to be—hinting at what’s coming on the record; the second—looser, sweatier, slightly feral—a kind of tribal dub séance.

Somewhere in that disarray, we also celebrated the birthday of our beloved La Linn (we love you, old wizard).

On the 6th of March, the very moment Thursday breathes its last and Friday draws its first deep breath — in other words, at the stroke of midnight — our new single, “The Fancy One,” will appear across all streaming platforms.

This track is special to us for several reasons. First, it was the very first piece we began working on when we started playing together as a band, making it something of a cornerstone — a force that shaped us and filled us with excitement for everything that followed.

Second, everyone loves a proper drum solo — and in this one, our Krzychu conjures some truly formidable magic.

Third, it may well be our jazziest incarnation yet. And fourth, from a production standpoint, La Linn has once again crafted a little gem.

We’re absolutely thrilled that very soon this piece will be ringing in your ears.
