PRIME ART LAB officially inaugurated its new art salon on 26 June 2026 with a private opening held in a beautifully preserved 1930s Functionalist townhouse in Warsaw’s Powiśle district.

The inaugural exhibition brought together a carefully curated selection of works by artists with whom PRIME ART LAB founder Dominik Zieliński has maintained long-standing collaborations across a variety of curatorial and professional contexts.

The evening offered a rare opportunity for artists, collectors, and invited guests to come together in celebration of art that unites technical excellence, intellectual depth, and a distinctly contemporary sensibility.

At the heart of PRIME ART LAB is a thoughtfully curated circle of exceptional artists whose practices transcend the shifting currents of fashion and the fluctuations of the contemporary art market. Their work is rooted in enduring artistic values, distinguished by mastery of craft, authenticity of vision, and a commitment to the timeless principles that have shaped the history of art across generations—reinterpreted through the language of the present.

As Dominik Zieliński observed during the opening:

“Contemporary art at its highest level does not require a translator; at most, it requires a guide.”

PRIME ART LAB operates through an invitation-only programme of exhibitions and events. Private curator-led visits to current exhibitions are available exclusively by prior appointment.

It’s here! The result of almost a year of work by design studio PRIME ART LAB, now released in a limited edition of 500 copies.

This exclusive, numbered collector’s set includes a signed reproduction and two publications by art historian Dominik Zieliński Dominik Zieliński — “Sętowski. Real Metaphors” and “Sętowski on Paper. Sketches, Drawings, Watercolours, Gouaches”. This unique publication accompanies the monographic exhibition “Tomasz Sętowski. Artist and Collector”, organised by the Częstochowa Museum.

The first album presents more than 100 paintings, held primarily in private collections, and constitutes the first comprehensive attempt to explore the key motifs and meanings within the work of Tomasz Sętowski — one of the most recognisable contemporary Polish artists.

The volume dedicated to works on paper, drawn from a single collection, highlights for the first time their autonomous value, presenting them not merely as studies or preparatory works, but often as fully realised and independent works of art. Dominik Zieliński seeks, on one hand, to capture the very essence of artistic expression through this unique medium and define its place within the artist’s entire body of work; on the other, to reveal the recurring themes of the presented collection and the hidden narratives embedded within them.

The album was created with the participation of the Częstochowa Museum, Museum of Imagination, Złota Gwiazda Foundation, Kimla, the design studio and art salon PRIME ART LAB, and the Silesian Auction House Art X Gallery.
