24 серпня Україна відзначає День Незалежності. У 1991 році Україна розпочала новий етап у своїй історії, проголосивши демократичні засади політичного, економічного та соціального розвитку. 24 серпня встановлено як день визнання країни вільною і незалежною державою.

23 серпня українці відзначають День Державного Прапора. Українські жовто-блакитні кольори на державному прапорі є одним із найважливіших елементів національної ідентичності, яка формувалася протягом багатьох століть. Нині українці з гордістю шанують свій прапор. Весь світ був свідком того, як під час Революції Гідності (Майдан) 2014 року та нападу росіян на Україну 24 лютого 2022 року безстрашні українці з жовто-блакитним прапором у руках здавались, здавались і безстрашно віддавали життя. в ім'я свободи і приналежності до своєї батьківщини. У російсько-українській війні, спричиненій агресією Росії, громадяни України жертвують своїм життям за краще і вільне майбутнє не лише України, а й усієї Європи.

У 2022 році Україна відзначає 31-шу річницю незалежності. Той великий день став переломним моментом в історії української держави: 24 серпня 1991 року український народ після багатовікової боротьби здобув незалежність. Кожен має усвідомлювати ціну, яку заплатили і платять українці за свою свободу. Тому, висловлюючи найкращі побажання з нагоди свята всіх громадян України, бажаю вам, перш за все, миру. Ми творимо нашу спільну історію і обов’язок кожного з нас, кожного народу – продовжувати підтримувати Україну. Разом із Днем Незалежності до оселі кожного українця мають прийти мир і щастя, порозуміння, добро і любов.

We have a room with a small nursery suitable for a child up to 12 years old. We are in a city between Dallas and Fort Worth in a region with over 7 million people. We live close to the airport. Many job opportunities if looking for work. We are a husband (39) and wife (37) with a daughter (8) and son (6). We speak English fluently and the husband speaks Ukrainian at an A2 level. We were in the process of adopting 2 more children when the war started (7 and 5). We will be traveling to Ukraine to pick them up once adoptions start again. We have two medium sized dogs. Our family doesn’t smoke but we do drink alcohol occasionally. We go to a Christian church on Sunday’s. Our family hobbies are board games, crafts, Lego and swimming. Room with bathroom located in our home. We have a private home with private yard and garden. Home is licites on bus route and there are many opportunities for work in our city.

We have a 9 year old boy so a single mom with a child in that age range would be preferable. We currently have a dog and cat so it would be difficult to accommodate more pets in the home.

We can provide the free room, some meals, clothing and other stuff to get you started here in Atlantic Canada. We are close to the ocean and beaches, the city has a lot to do and see and there is a Ukrainian Social group in the city.
