First time in Budapest already felt like home.
Despite the harsh political climate and its serious impact on the club scene, It was obvious that dancefloor energy there is on another level!

Loved the monumental city sights, but it was in the gritty, underground places where I felt the most comfortable and close to Budapest’s heartbeat.

Creating a special set for each of those dates is my favourite kind of busy

It’s September 2017.
My 20-year-old self is having the time of his life at his first-ever techno event, .techno in Warsaw.
Massive door of Highest Voltage Hall opens, letting in the early morning sun, while he dances with his eyes closed, realizing the magic of this weird, repetitive music.
He doesn’t yet know that in 8 years he’ll be playing on that same stage, presenting his own repertoire of weird sounds. Such an honor. It’s been a long journey, but still doesn’t feel like a final destination, more like a beginning of a bigger adventure.

A little throwback to
Playing in this 14th century gothic church was quite intimidating, but indeed a transformative experience.
Don’t remember stressing and overthinking this much during a performance, as I tried to improvise most of the set, resulting in some quirky(to my taste) moments. But then, isn’t it the best kind of training to see yourself „fail” live and people still enjoying it?
Big 🫂 to kind souls that came early to see me!

A week has passed and I’m still collecting my thoughts after playing on the ON2 system by
The level of detail, depth and just raw, bodily sensation of the sound is unmatched by anything that I’ve played on before.

From the moment I walked into the soundcheck, I already knew we’d be moving my table into the middle of the dancefloor, so I’d be able to control and experience the sound together with the crowd. Being able to feel even a small filter movement in my whole body is something out of this world.

Hats off to .macewicz / .pl for pulling off an event of this scale in Wroclaw, I’d been waiting for years for something like this.
More hats off to for showing everyone how it’s done, and an inspiring talk which made me reconsider my whole approach and improvise instead of taking a planned path.
