Everyone is still talking about CHANEL Métiers d’Art. The show was exceptional! And the soundtrack? Soooo good.
The whole thing felt like a performance, because that’s exactly what a runway is. Clothes, space, lighting, movement, and music… Can you even imagine a show without all that?
Designers experiment with different approaches, from ambient sound to stronger, more defined tracks. But whatever the form, music always becomes part of how we understand the show.
Music is an integral part of a brand’s identity. In a show, it should align with the location, the theme of the collection, and what the brand wants to communicate in that moment.
It’s a strong strategic element. It’s part of the creative director’s vision, as the person responsible for shaping the brand and how it’s perceived.

WOWW. A full marble façade with sculpted rounded openings that reinterpret Alaïa’s signature perforated motif. Inside you get sensual minimalism pushed to its limit: custom tables, sculptural seating and that circular mirror (!!)😮💨

And this isn’t a niche. This is Gen Z, a generation with 32% of their wardrobe pre-owned. In the US, 66% of handbags are second-hand.
The pre-owned market is growing because people are changing how they think. About luxury. About quality. About ownership.

Jacquemus dressed champagne. Literally.
The collaboration is with V***e Clicquot – one of the oldest Champagne houses, founded in 1772, famous for its yellow label and for being led in the 19th century by Madame Clicquot, a true pioneer in the industry.
Jacquemus reimagined their prestige cuvée, La Grande Dame 2018. The bottle is wrapped in white linen with yellow stitching and his handwritten notes – a mix of Clicquot heritage and his own South of France codes.
