August has come and gone, and with it - the Analyx Sports Challenge. A month of hard work and thousands of burned calories later we have the results, and this year, they count for more than just our friendly competition 💪

Our Analyxers have worked hard, and as a Team, we managed to log 7758,6 kilometers of distance travelled via walking, running, biking and even wind surfing, that will now be converted into 7758,6 PLN donated to charitable causes - supporting underprivileged children and animals, via charities chosen by the Team. Big thank you to everyone who participated!

The Analyx team is looking for a new member - this time, we would welcome help in the area of manual testing, on part-time basis. If that is a direction in which you would like to develop, and you would be able to work around 20 hours a week, head on to the careers tab on our website and apply!

After the success of last year's edition, this August we are once again holding a Sports Challenge for everyone at Analyx - we are walking, running, biking and hiking (among others!) in order to burn calories and log kilometers in a friendly competition among coworkers.

But this year, there is also a higher goal - every kilometer logged during this challenge will be later converted into 1 PLN donated to a charitable cause, so everyone is extra motivated to participate as much as possible 💪 And we are off to a strong start - some people have logged as much as 200km in the first few days of the challenge. Let's see what total number we will end up with!

Have you ever heard of Złombol? It is an annual charity rally, in which teams ride from Poland to a foreign destination in vintage cars, in order to collect donations for children's homes. This year, one of our Analyxers decided to participate as part of the MotoKomando team, and we were happy to become one of their sponsors, since they're riding for a worthy cause.

The team is on their way to the finish line on the beautiful Bulgarian coast right now, so if you will be in the Golden Sands area, you might spot their car with our logo on it 👀

Who doesn't like to be surrounded by flowers and plants at work? It is proven that plants in the office not only contribute to room aesthetics, but also improve the air quality, reduce stress and can even lower the temperature of the room in the summer!

But they require some help in order to grow and flourish, so this week, our Analyx office plants received some loving care in the form of bigger pots, fresh soil and nutrients that will allow them to continue making our space more welcoming.

Happy Earth Day!
Although we should keep the good of our planet in our minds every day, on the date of the Earth Day we are reminded that we can always do better. At Analyx, we have been continuously introducing new eco-friendly solutions like replacing single-use plastic water bottles with glass carafes, ordering fair trade coffee for the office, or including CO2 offset donations in our travel expenses.

Key responsibilities:⁣⁣
You will join one of our project teams to find business solutions through: ⁣⁣
• data integration and preparation,⁣⁣
• defining and developing econometrical or machine learning models,⁣⁣
• internal and client-side communication and preparation of main insights of the project.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
We expect from you: ⁣⁣
• Strong analytical skills, as well as understanding data relationships.⁣⁣
• Hands-on experience in advanced consumer data analytics (at least 2 years in a similar role will be a great asset).⁣⁣
• Experience with R and packages (or other programming language) for data preparation, visualization and modelling. ⁣⁣
• Familiarity with econometrical and machine learning models. ⁣⁣
• Experience with relational databases and coding in SQL will be appreciated. ⁣⁣
• Educational background: Mathematics, Econometrics, Statistics, Computer Science. ⁣⁣
• Knowledge of English is required, knowledge of German will be appreciated. ⁣⁣
