Politechnika Gdańska awansowała w ShanghaiRanking, najbardziej prestiżowym zestawieniu szkół wyższych na świecie❗
– To ogromny sukces i dowód na to, że konsekwentna praca całej społeczności akademickiej Politechniki Gdańskiej przynosi wymierne efekty – mówi prof. Krzysztof Wilde, rektor PG. – Awans naszej uczelni w tym prestiżowym rankingu jest wynikiem nie tylko doskonałości naukowej i dydaktycznej, ale także strategicznych inwestycji w rozwój kadry, infrastrukturę badawczą oraz współpracę międzynarodową.

Academic Ranking of World Universities ( ) przygotowywany jest od 2003 r. Nasza uczelnia znalazła się w nim po raz 5. z rzędu i zanotowała 📈awans względem ubiegłego roku aż o 100 miejsc, plasując się w przedziale 801-900 najlepszych uczelni świata. 💪W ARWU 2024 zostało sklasyfikowanych 8 polskich uczelni. Wśród rodzimych szkół wyższych PG jest 🥉3. najwyżej notowaną (przedział 801-900). Wyższe pozycje zajęły Uniwersytet Jagielloński oraz Uniwersytet Warszawski, plasując się w przedziale 401-500. Z kolei w przedziale 901-1000 znalazły się Uniwersytet im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, Akademia Górniczo-Hutnicza w Krakowie, Uniwersytet Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu, Politechnika Warszawska i Uniwersytet Medyczny im. Piastów Śląskich we Wrocławiu.

Watching the technicians who maintain our office building deal with lights, we realized there had to be a way to make their job easier.
