Beside, near, or next to? 🤔📍
These three words all describe location, but they are not always used in the same way.
• Near → close, but with some distance
• Beside → directly side by side
• Next to → almost the same as beside
💡 Quick test:
“The cat is right ___ the dog.”
What would you use: near, beside, or next to? 👀

Moles and Avogadro’s number made easier. 🧪📚
Chemistry becomes easier when a tutor explains the concept step by step instead of asking students to simply memorise it.
In this lesson, our TechDexing tutor explains:
• What a mole means in Chemistry
• What Avogadro’s number represents
• How 1 mole = 6.02 × 10²³ particles
• How this idea helps us understand the number of atoms, molecules or particles in a substance
The goal is simple: understand the concept first, then use the formula.
📚 This is how TechDexing’s 1-on-1 online tutoring helps IGCSE, O Level and A Level students understand difficult Chemistry topics step by step.

Why does sugar disappear in water, but chalk doesn’t? 🧪💧
You put both in water.
The sugar seems to disappear.
The chalk doesn’t.
So what’s actually happening?
Sugar dissolves in water. Its particles spread throughout the water, so you can’t see them anymore.
Chalk doesn’t dissolve. Its solid particles stay in the water and eventually settle at the bottom.
So remember:
Dissolving doesn’t mean disappearing. 👀
The substance is still there. Its particles are just spread throughout the solution.
This simple idea helps explain solubility, solutions and mixtures in Chemistry.

Probability looks complicated until you know what to count.
In this Maths lesson, students work through probability questions using a standard deck of 52 playing cards.
The lesson covers questions such as:
• Probability of selecting a red card
• Probability of selecting a black card
• Probability of selecting a heart or spade
• Probability of selecting a king
• Probability of selecting an ace or jack
• Probability involving combinations such as an even red card
The key idea is simple:
Probability = Number of favourable outcomes ÷ Total number of possible outcomes
Using real examples like playing cards makes probability easier to understand and apply in exam questions.
