جدوجهد ڪندڙ ڪاريگر کان تربيت يافته زين ساز تائين: حسين بخش جي پاڻڀرو ٿيڻ جي ڪهاڻي
مهارت، موقعو ۽ جانورن جي ڀلائيءَ کي پائيدار روزگار ۾ تبديل ڪرڻ

حسين بخش شمن، ولد خدا بخش، تعلقو سوڀوديرو، ضلعي خيرپور ميرس جو رهواسي آهي. ستن ٻارن جو پيءُ حسين بخش هڪ ننڍڙي ٽڪ شاپ تان ڪم ڪندڙ گهوڙن ۽ ٻين باربردار جانورن لاءِ گهوڙن جي ساز ۽ هارنس تيار ڪرڻ ۽ مرمت ڪرڻ جو ڪم ڪندو هو.

مدد حاصل ڪرڻ کان اڳ، حسين بخش سخت مالي ڏکيائين کي منهن ڏئي رهيو هو ۽ گهٽ معيار وارن، سخت ۽ جانورن لاءِ تڪليف ڏيندڙ سامان استعمال ڪندو هو. محدود وسيلن سبب سندس تيار ڪيل شين جي معيار ۽ مختلف قسمن ۾ به واڌارو نه ٿي سگهيو. سندس روزاني آمدني سراسري طور صرف 300 رپيا هئي، جيڪا سندس خاندان جون بنيادي ضرورتون پوريون ڪرڻ لاءِ به ڪافي نه هئي. ساڳئي وقت، غير مناسب مواد جي استعمال سبب ڪم ڪندڙ جانورن کي تڪليف ۽ زخمن جو خطرو پڻ رهندو هو.

هڪ نئين موقعي جي سڃاڻپ؛
ضلعي خيرپور ۾ بُروڪ پاڪستان جي گگدام جانورن جي ڀلائي واري منصوبو(ايڪوائين ويلفيئر پروجيڪٽ) جي فيلڊ موبلائيزيشن دوران سنڌ رورل سپورٽ آرگنائيزيشن (سرسو) جي ٽيم ڪم ڪندڙ جانورن جي ضرورتن جو جائزو وٺندي مقامي ڪاريگرن سان پڻ رابطو ڪيو، جن جو روزگار گهوڙن ۽ ٻين ڪم ڪندڙ جانورن سان لاڳاپيل خدمتن سان وابسته هو.
حسين بخش کي اهڙي ڪاريگر طور سڃاتو ويو، جيڪو فني تربيت ۽ مالي سهڪار ٻنهي مان فائدو حاصل ڪري سگهيو ٿي. پر محدود سرمايو ۽ رسمي قرض تائين رسائي نه هئڻ سبب هو معياري ساز ۽ هارنس جو سامان خريد ڪرڻ يا پنهنجي ننڍڙي ڪاروبار کي وڌائڻ کان قاصر هو.

ڪاريگر کان تربيت يافته زين ساز تائين؛
روزگار ۾ بهتري ۽ جانورن جي ڀلائيءَ جي وچ ۾ مضبوط لاڳاپي کي نظر ۾ رکندي، منصوبي جي ٽيم حسين بخش کي خصوصي فني تربيت فراهم ڪئي.
تربيت دوران هن جانورن لاءِ آرامده ۽ مناسب زين جي ڊزائن، دٻاءَ جي مناسب ورڇ ۽ جانورن جي ڀلائيءَ مطابق هارنس تيار ڪرڻ بابت جديد ۽ عملي مهارتون حاصل ڪيون. انهن مهارتن جي مدد سان هو هاڻي وڌيڪ معياري زين ۽ هارنس تيار ڪرڻ لڳو، جيڪي ڪم ڪندڙ جانورن جي آرام ۽ ڀلائيءَ کي بهتر بڻائڻ ۾ مددگار آهن.

سندس مالي مسئلن کي حل ڪرڻ لاءِ حسين بخش کي سرسو پاران سنڌ حڪومت جي سهڪار سان هلندڙ Enterprise Development Fund (EDF) تحت 100,000 رپين جو بنا وياج قرض فراهم ڪيو ويو.
هن سهڪار سان هن بهتر معيار جا پٽا، پائيدار پيڊنگ ۽ ٻيو ضروري ساز سازيءَ جو سامان خريد ڪيو. بهتر مهارتن ۽ معياري سامان سان هن جانورن جي جسامت ۽ ضرورت مطابق تيار ڪيل آرامده زين ۽ هارنس ٺاهڻ شروع ڪيا، جيڪي جانورن تي غير ضروري دٻاءَ، تڪليف ۽ زخمن کي گهٽ ڪرڻ ۾ مدد ڏين ٿا.

روزگار ۾ نمايان تبديلي؛
حسين بخش چئي ٿو ته؛
”سرسو پاران مالي سهڪار کانپوءِ روزگار تي نمايان اثر پيوآهي. منهنجي روزاني آمدني 300 رپين مان وڌي 1,000 رپيا ٿي وئي، يعني منهنجي آمدني ٽي ڀيرا کان به وڌيڪ وڌي وئي. وڌندڙ آمدنيءَ سان آئون هاڻي پنهنجي قرض جون ماهوار قسطون باقاعدگيءَ سان ادا ڪرڻ سان گڏ پنهنجي خاندان جي مالي ضرورتن کي به وڌيڪ آسانيءَ سان پورو ڪري سگهي ٿو“.

حسين بخش لاءِ هي سهڪار صرف مالي مدد تائين محدود نه رهيو، پر هن کي مهارت، سرمايو ۽ اعتماد فراهم ڪيو، جنهن جي مدد سان هو پنهنجي ننڍڙي ڪاريگريءَ کي هڪ پائيدار روزگار ۾ تبديل ڪرڻ ۾ ڪامياب ٿيو.

پائيدار تبديليءَ جي هڪ ڪهاڻي؛
حسين بخش جو هڪ محدود وسيلن سان ڪم ڪندڙ ڪاريگر کان تربيت يافته ۽ تصديق ٿيل زين ساز بڻجڻ جو سفر ان ڳالهه جو مثال آهي ته هدف تي ٻڌل روزگار جا موقعا صرف آمدني وڌائڻ تائين محدود ناهن رهندا، پر انهن جا مثبت اثر سماج ۽ جانورن جي ڀلائيءَ تائين پڻ پهچن ٿا.

بُروڪ پاڪستان ۽ سرسو ايڪوائين ويلفيئر پروجيڪٽ ذريعي معاشي بااختياري ۽ جانورن جي ڀلائيءَ کي گڏيل انداز ۾ اڳتي وڌايو ويو، جنهن سان ضلعي خيرپور ۾ هڪ ڳوٺاڻو خاندان پنهنجي روزگار کي بهتر بڻائڻ سان گڏ ڪم ڪندڙ جانورن جي صحت، آرام ۽ ڀلائيءَ ۾ پڻ پنهنجو ڪردار ادا ڪري رهيو آهي.

300 رپين جي روزاني آمدنيءَ کان 1,000 رپين تائين—حسين بخش جي ڪهاڻي ان ڳالهه جو ثبوت آهي ته مناسب مهارت، وسيلن ۽ موقعن سان هڪ ننڍڙو روزگار به خودڀرو ٿيڻ ۽ پائيدار معاشي استحڪام ڏانهن مضبوط قدم بڻجي سگهي ٿو.

Village Chaglo Jokhio, UC Gujo, Taluka Mirpur Sakro, District Thatta, Sindh
Village Haji Chaglo Jokhio is being developed as a Model Village through the Cash-for-Work ( ) initiative under the Sindh Social Registry and Livelihood Resilient Programme (SSR-LRP) – Pilot, funded by the European Union in Pakistan ( ) and and implemented by the SRSO - Sindh Rural Support Organization.

The CfW initiative is supporting local community members by providing temporary livelihood opportunities while contributing to the development and improvement of community infrastructure in UC Gujo, Taluka Mirpur Sakro, District Thatta, Sindh.

The following various community development schemes have been initiated and now its status is as under:
✅ Irrigation Channel: 1,371/1,410 RFT — 97.2% completed
✅ Lead Hand Pumps: 26/26 boreholes & platforms — 100% completed
✅ Culverts: 03/03 — 100% completed
✅ Tree Plantation: 200/350 trees — 57.1% completed
✅ Kitchen Gardening: 23/23 units — 100% completed
✅ Brick Pavement: 1,427/4,670 RFT — 30.6% completed

Through this intervention, community members are actively engaged in development activities, strengthening local resilience, improving village infrastructure, and generating much-needed income for vulnerable households.

𝗔 𝗿𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗮’𝘀 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲
Village Ishaque Pitafi UC Kar-Shah, District Thatta
Naeema, is a -supported entrepreneur through interest free enterprise development loan under People’s Poverty Reduction Program- - Sindh Government. She belongs to a rural village Ishaque Pitafi UC Kar-Shah Taluka Ghorabari District , has become an inspiring example of women’s economic empowerment and self -reliance.

Before starting her own business, she was engaged in agricultural and handicraft work, through which she gradually saved money to support her family and pursue her dream of becoming financially independent.

“With the support of interest free Enterprise Development Fund (EDF) loan amounting to PKR 500,000, I established a small shop at my home. Through my dedication, hard work, courage and entrepreneurial spirit, I am now successfully managing my own business and earning approximately PKR 3,000-4,000 daily, equivalent to PKR 90,000-120,000 monthly.” Naseema says.

Naeema is one of the few women in her area who has taken the initiative to become economically independent and serve as a role model for other women. Her shop is the only one of its kind in the surrounding area, providing women with convenient access to essential household items without having to travel elsewhere. Customers from nearby villages also visit her shop to purchase their daily necessities.

Despite limited educational opportunities and living in a rural community, Naeema has demonstrated that determination, hard work, and access to financial support can create meaningful opportunities for women. Her success has not only improved her family's livelihood but has also contributed to women's empowerment and accessibility within her community.

ڳوٺ ڪجل پور، تعلقو باقراڻي، ضلعو لاڙڪاڻو ۾ عورتن جو هڪ اهم سيشن منعقد ڪيو ويو. هي سيشن بُروڪ پاڪستان (Brooke) ۽ سنڌ رورل سپورٽ آرگنائيزيشن (سرسو) پاران هلندڙ ايڪوائين جانورن جي ڀلائيءِ منصوبي هيٺ منعقد ڪيو ويو.

سيشن جو بنيادي مقصد ڳوٺ جي عورتن کي ايڪوائين جانورن يعني گهوڙن، گڏهن ۽ خچرن جي بهتر سنڀال بابت آگاهي ڏيڻ هو.

سيشن دوران عورتن کي هيٺين اهم نقطن تي تفصيلي ڄاڻ ڏني وئي:
1. بهتر نشونما ۽ سنڀال: ايڪوائين جانورن جي روزمره جي سنڀال ڪيئن ڪجي ۽ انهن کي بيمارين کان ڪيئن بچائي سگهجي ٿو.

2. متوازن خوراڪ: جانورن کي ڪهڙي قسم جي سٺي ۽ متوازن خوراڪ ڏيڻ گهرجي ته جيئن اهي صحتمند ۽ توانا رهن.

3. مناسب ڇانو / شيڊ جي اهميت: سخت گرمي ۽ سيءَ ۾ جانورن لاءِ مناسب ۽ هوادار شيڊ يا ڇانو هجڻ ڇو ضروري آهي، ته جيئن اهي گرمي جي لوءَ کان محفوظ رهي سگهن.

سيشن ۾ عورتن وڏي دلچسپي ورتي ۽ پنهنجن جانورن جي حوالي سان پنهنجا مسئلا پڻ بيان ڪيا.

مائي حُرمت هڪ ننڍي هاري ۽ سنڌ رورل سپورٽ آرگنائيزيشن (سرسو) - GIZ # ڪچن گارڊننگ منصوبي مان فائدو وٺندڙ آهي، جيڪا هاڻي پنهنجي ڪوشش سان سايون ڀاڄين جي پيداوار جاري رکي رهي آهي.

منصوبي تحت تربيت ۽ صلاحيت وڌائڻ واري مدد حاصل ڪرڻ کان پوءِ، هن ايندڙ ربيع جي موسم لاءِ پنهنجي زمين تيار ڪرڻ شروع ڪري ڇڏي آهي ۽ پنهنجي ئي گهر ۾ محفوظ ڪيل ٻجن مان ٽماٽي ۽ مرچ جا ٻوٽا تيار ڪري رهي آهي. جڏهن ته پاڻ اڳ ۾ به گهريلو سطح تي سايون ڀاڄيون اپائڻ ۽ ان مان ڀرپور فائدو حاصل ڪري رهي آهي.

سندس هي قدم منصوبي تحت سکيل طريقن جي پائيداري، حاصل ڪيل ڄاڻ جي عملي استعمال ۽ ٻاهرين شين تي گهٽ ٿيندڙ انحصار کي ظاهر ڪري ٿو.

مائي حُرمت چئي ٿي ؛
“مون پنهنجي زمين تيار ڪرڻ ۽ پنهنجي ئي ٻجن مان ٽماٽي ۽ مرچ جا ٻوٽا تيار ڪرڻ شروع ڪيا آهن، ته جيئن ايندڙ ربيع جي موسم دوران ڀاڄين جي پيداوار جاري رکي سگهان.”

مدد حاصل ڪرڻ کان وٺي ڀاڄين جي پيداوار کي پنهنجي طور تي جاري رکڻ تائين مائي حرمت جي هي ڪوشش ڪميونٽي جي مالڪي، پائيداري ۽ خود انحصاري جو هڪ عملي مثال آهي.

ريحانه سولنگي هڪ محنتي، باهمت ۽ خوددار عورت آهي، جنهن پنهنجي مڙس جي وفات کان پوءِ پنهنجي پنجن ڌيئرن ۽ هڪ پٽ جي پرورش ۽ گهر جون سموريون ذميواريون پنهنجي ڪلهن تي کنيو. محدود مالي وسيلن سبب ٻارن جي تعليم ۽ گهر جون بنيادي ضرورتون پوريون ڪرڻ سندس لاءِ هڪ وڏو چئلينج بڻجي ويو.

سنڌ حڪومت جي سهڪار سان سنڌ رورل سپورٽ آرگنائيزيشن (سرسو) پاران ڪيل سروي دوران ريحانه سولنگي جو غربت جو اسڪور 8 رڪارڊ ٿيو، جنهن مان سندس خاندان جي معاشي ڪمزوري ظاهر ٿي. سندس حالتن کي نظر ۾ رکندي کيس 15,000 رپين جو بغير وياج قرض 11 مهينن لاءِ فراهم ڪيو ويو.

ريحانه هن مالي سهائتا کي پنهنجي زندگيءَ ۾ نئين شروعات جو ذريعو بڻايو. هن ان رقم مان سلائي مشين خريد ڪري ڪپڙن جي سلائي جو ڪاروبار شروع ڪيو. پنهنجي هنر، محنت ۽ مستقل مزاجي سان هن آهستي آهستي آمدني حاصل ڪرڻ شروع ڪئي. هن پنهنجي ڪاروبار مان حاصل ٿيندڙ آمدني سان ٻارن جون ضرورتون پوريون ڪرڻ سان گڏ سرسو جو قرض پڻ مقرر وقت اندر واپس ڪري ڇڏيو.

ريحانه جي محنت، ذميواري ۽ ڪاروباري صلاحيت کي ڏسندي، کيس وڌيڪ ڪاروبار وڌائڻ لاءِ انٽرپرائيز ڊولپمينٽ فنڊ EDF تحت 380,000 (ٽي لک اسي هزار) رپين جو قرض ٻن سالن لاءِ فراهم ڪيو ويو. هن رقم سان ريحانه پنهنجي ڪپڙن جي ڪاروبار کي وڌيڪ وڌايو ۽ پنهنجي لاءِ مستقل روزگار ۽ آمدني جو مضبوط ذريعو پيدا ڪيو.

اڄ ريحانه پنهنجي ڪاروبار مان حاصل ٿيندڙ آمدني ذريعي پنهنجي خاندان جون ذميواريون بهتر نموني نڀائي رهي آهي. هوءَ پنهنجي 4 ڌيئرن جون شاديون به ڪرائي چڪي آهي، جڏهن ته پنهنجي پٽ ۽ ننڍي ڌيءَ جي تعليم تي خاص ڌيان ڏئي رهي آهي. سندس پٽ انٽرميڊيئيٽ تائين تعليم حاصل ڪري چڪو آهي، جڏهن ته سندس 10 سالن جي ننڍي ڌيءَ چوٿين ڪلاس ۾ تعليم حاصل ڪري رهي آهي.

ريحانه سولنگي جي ڪهاڻي ان ڳالهه جو روشن مثال آهي ته جيڪڏهن هڪ عورت کي مناسب موقعو، بغير وياج جي مالي سهائتا ۽ پنهنجي محنت تي ڀروسو ملي، ته هوءَ نه رڳو پنهنجي زندگي بدلائي سگهي ٿي، پر پنهنجي ٻارن جي مستقبل کي به روشن بڻائي سگهي ٿي.

اڄ ريحانه سولنگي صرف هڪ بيواهه ۽ معاشي ڏکائين کي منهن ڏيندڙ عورت نه رهي آهي، پر پنهنجي محنت ۽ همت سان هڪ خودمختيار، باوقار ۽ ڪامياب ڪاروباري عورت بڻجي چڪي آهي.

With the financial support & collaboration of the District Administration Sukkur, the SRSO - Sindh Rural Support Organization has initiated two Vocational Training Centers ( ) for women and girls in Katcha areas of District Sukkur.

The initiative aims to equip rural women and girls with practical tailoring skills to enhance their income-earning opportunities and contribute to improved household livelihoods.

and District Administration has signed a MoU on August 25, 2026 to establish a cooperative framework for launching a Vocational Training Program aimed at the socio-economic empowerment of underprivileged women in remote areas of the district Sukkur.

District Administration led by Mr. Nadir Shahzad Khan, DC Sukkur has took this initiative to empower rural women through enhancing vocational skills. He is providing full facilitation to SRSO in administrative coordination, support and oversight during implementation of the initiative.

Under this MoU, two VTCs has been established in:
📍 Village Gudpur, UC Sadhuja, Taluka Pano Aqil
📍 Village Meeran Indher, UC Panhwari, Taluka Pano Aqil

A total of 40 women and girls—20 at each VTC— are enrolled and learning in the one-month vocational training. Experienced female trainers are providing hands-on instruction in tailoring and garment-making.

The vocational training is enabling them to apply their skills for income generation and pursue sustainable livelihood opportunities at household level.

Trainees are pleased to learn new skills together with other women. They are grateful district administration Sukkur-Govt. of Sindh for providing this opportunity.

This initiative reflects a collaborative effort to bring skills development opportunities closer to women living in remote communities and support their journey toward greater economic self-reliance.

GHOTKI: A district-level training on (Insecticide-Treated Nets) Distribution & Record-Keeping was successfully conducted on 16th September 2026 at the Meeting Hall, DHO Office, Mirpur Mathelo, District Ghotki under or under the GF-ATM Malaria Project implemented by SRSO - Sindh Rural Support Organization.

A total of 17 participants were nominated, with 100% participation achieved.

The SRSO Provincial Coordinator Hamid Ali Magsi proceeded with the training as per the set agenda. Dr. Kainat Niach, /DMU In-charge, started the event with a detailed briefing on the objectives of ITNs training and distribution strategies.

Mr. Abdul Wahab Soomro ( ) conducted a session on the proper usage of ITNs and their benefits, emphasizing their importance in malaria prevention.

Mr. Muhammad Hassan (M&D, ) delivered a detailed session on record-keeping, transparency, and accuracy. He emphasized that all ITNs must be properly documented and issued strictly according to the prescribed protocols, ensuring accurate records, transparency, and accountability throughout the distribution process.

Mr. Arif Abbasi (DM, ) appreciated the SRSO District and Head Office teams for organizing a comprehensive and well-structured training event and acknowledged their efforts in strengthening the ITNs distribution process.

At the end of the event, Dr. Rao Aftab Ahmed ( ) emphasized that everyone involved in the distribution process is accountable for every single ITN. He stressed that ITNs are intended for ANC (Antenatal Care) clients, who are the deserving beneficiaries, and therefore urged all concerned to ensure that ITNs are distributed to the eligible ANC clients strictly according to the set protocols.

The entire event was organized and facilitated by the SRSO District Coordinator under the GF-ATM Malaria Project.

The training successfully strengthened participants’ understanding of ITNs distribution, proper utilization, record-keeping, transparency, accuracy, and accountability, supporting effective malaria prevention efforts at the district level.

An IFFP Session was conducted with the support and collaboration of under funded project at SRSO Office Larkano. The session attended by Mr. Badar-ul-Islam and Mr. Usman Asif, M&E Officer, from RSPN, Mr. Roshan Ali Panhwar from PPHI , Mr. Sultan Chandio, District Manager, Project Focal Person DPOs of Larkana and KSK from the SRHR Project, LHVs from Larkana and Kamber, the President of Sarwan and the District Larkana Youth Champion.

During the meeting, detailed information was shared regarding the and Family Planning (FP) components. Participants were also briefed on the CRP initiative, particularly the mechanism and strategy for promoting and selling products at the community level and youth champion.

The President of LSO Sarwan briefed the participants on the initiatives undertaken by the LSO, its strengths, and its role in supporting SRHR and FP-related interventions.

Overall, the meeting was highly informative, productive, and fruitful. It provided an effective platform for participants to exchange information and experiences related to SRHR and FP activities and to discuss strategies for strengthening the effective implementation of project interventions at the community level.
