Here are 2 lesser-known facts about Pakistan Day—share this with others:

📜 At Minto Park in 1940, the historic resolution never used the word “Pakistan.”
The original text clearly calls for “independent states” instead.
Verified in Jinnah of Pakistan, Chapter 7, pp. 262–264 (reproduced resolution text).

🏛️ Secondly, it wasn’t even called Pakistan Day at the time.
It was known as the Lahore Resolution Day—the name evolved much later after independence.
Refer to The Making of Pakistan, pp. 104–106.

23rd March reminds us:
Nations are not built in a day.
They are imagined, questioned, and fought for—again and again.

This Eid, some doors will not open, some voices will be missed.

Behind those quiet homes are families of martyrs—standing tall with patience, carrying a sacrifice words can never measure.

Eid Mubarak to the guardians of this nation’s honor. We remember. We are grateful.

Today, on International Women's Day, we want to celebrate the women who rarely appear on panels, billboards, or award lists.

The mothers who wake up before everyone else.
The grandmothers who never miss to pray for success.
The aunts who step in like second mothers.
The sister & sister-in-laws who become sisters in every way that matters.
The cousins who grow with us through every season of life.
The nieces who bring joy and hope.
The neighbours who become family in times of need.
The house helps who carry the weight of our homes so others can step into the world and chase their dreams.

We often applaud the women making headlines in boardrooms and workplaces — and rightly so.

But behind many of those success stories are women whose labour is invisible, whose sacrifices are unspoken, and whose strength quietly sustains entire families and communities.

Today, we salute those women.
The real enablers.
The silent pillars.
The everyday heroes.

Because sometimes the strongest women are the ones the world rarely pauses to applaud. 🌷

The face of a hero.
The silence of a prison.
The pain of Kashmir.

Yasin Malik — behind bars, yet unbroken.
A face that carries the weight of a nation’s struggle.

On 5th February, Pakistan stands with Kashmir.
Because voices can be jailed,
but truth cannot be erased.

💚Kashmir will endure.
