On 24 August 2024, Senator/ Chairman Standing Committee for SAFRAN Senate of Pakistan Mir Jan Muhammad Buledi visited BRDP office Quetta, he appreciated the work of BRDP for marginalized communities of Balochistan

BRDP observed World AIDS Day with various activities to raise awareness and educate people about the disease. The event included seminars, workshops, and free AIDS testing and counseling. The goal was to support the fight against AIDS and promote a healthier community.

جمعہ، 16 اگست 2024 کو خیبر پختونخوا کی وزارت صحت نے ایم پوکس وائرس (پہلے منکی پوکس کے نام سے جانا جاتا تھا) کا کم از کم ایک کیس تصدیق کیا ہے۔ عالمی ادارہ صحت (WHO) نے اس حالیہ وبا کو عالمی سطح پر ایک ہنگامی صحت عامہ کا مسئلہ قرار دیا ہے کیونکہ وائرس کی ایک نئی قسم کی تشخیص ہوئی ہے۔

On Friday, August 16, 2024, the KPK Health Ministry confirmed at least one case of the Mpox virus (formerly known as monkeypox). The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared this recent outbreak a Public Health Emergency of International Concern due to the identification of a new variant of the virus.

Mpox is a viral disease that spreads through close contact with an infected person or contaminated materials. Symptoms include fever, headache, muscle aches, swollen lymph nodes, and a distinctive rash that forms blisters and scabs.
