to Remove the extended portion of a line or a portion of line between two other lines (Trim) , press
tr then Enter and Enter again
then select the portion to be trimmed , it will be trim.

To cancel a command or commands press in Autocad
Esc

To join two lines at right angle
press
f then Enter
now select both lines .they will be joined

To draw a circle write the command
C => Enter
then write the radius of circle (such as 3 or 7 feet) then press Enter
you will get the required circle

To draw a circle write the command
C => Enter
then write the radius of circle then press Enter
you will get the required circle

To draw rectangle write the command
REC => Enter
then write the dimensions of length and width according to units you will get a rectangle

press F8 for ortho drawings (perpendicular lines)
press L => the press Enter => put the dimensions (simple no such as 3 or 4 represents the unit feet for inches write as 3' or 6')
=>then press Enter
you will gt the line of required length

Open Autocade go to => view , => display => UCS Icon => uncheck Origin
