For many women and children, collecting water meant hours of hard labor daily. One H2O Wheel carries 40 liters with ease — restoring dignity, saving time, and improving health.

Sukh Development Foundation organized the Learning and Sharing Workshop on “The Green Tunnels of Hope” on 6 May 2026 at Hotel One Multan, highlighting the impact of climate-smart tunnel farming on women’s empowerment and food security. The session brought together academic experts, development professionals, and project stakeholders to discuss project achievements, lessons learned, and sustainable agricultural solutions for rural communities. Beneficiaries shared how the initiative improved household income, resilience, and economic participation through sustainable farming practices.

The exercise was attended by Dr. Sajjad Ahmed, DEO Rescue 1122, DC Layyah Mr. Asif Dogar, and CEO Health Shahid Riaz representing the District Government.

The joint effort aims to ensure timely, coordinated, and effective response during emergencies. We’re grateful for the cooperation and dedication of all participants.

Today, a successful mock exercise was conducted in collaboration with Rescue 1122 and Sukh Development Foundation.

The exercise was attended by Dr. Sajjad Ahmed, DEO Rescue 1122 Layyah, along with the Sukh Foundation team.

Multiple stations were set up to practically demonstrate safety equipment and procedures related to flood preparedness to the public. The Rescue team also performed a mock exercise on firefighting and safely rescuing people during floods.

The aim is to raise public awareness about quick response and safety measures during emergency situations.
