I embarked on my journey of coaching civil services aspirants with the vision of providing them with the best possible means for success. Initially, I considered following the legacy of others by adopting CSS/PMS with Zeeshan Zaffar, but I realized it would be following the same trend. Determined to try something different, I chose COSMOS as the name for my institute, a name that had been my dream for an educational venture. I established myself and the institute in Multan, a decision driven by my desire to serve the people of my region.

Despite facing thousands of critics and criticism regarding my methodology and approach, I persevered alongside my aspirants. We worked diligently to adapt to the evolving trends of competitive exams. COSMOS believes in moving forward with consistency, implementing reforms, and realizing our full potential.

I am proud to announce that COSMOS ACADEMY FOR COMPETITIVE EXAMS is conducting its first-ever interview with a successful candidate. Sana-Ullah Khan Niazi secured the 6th position in the recently held PMS Punjab, and COSMOS is proud to have him. For the past three consecutive years, we have been the only institute in South Punjab with the highest possible allocations. We are progressing, and we will continue to strive to serve our people better.

Topic No.1: Foreign Policy Options for Pakistan in Afghanistan

Pakistan's current foreign policy towards Afghanistan, which focuses on strategic goals, needs to be transformed. Instead, the policy should prioritize a broader engagement with the Afghan people and government. In the past, Pakistan has claimed to prioritize geoeconomics in its foreign policy, but it has primarily been driven by geostrategic considerations. The Taliban's takeover of Afghanistan has complicated Pakistan's security challenges and has not resulted in the cooperation from the Taliban that Pakistan had hoped for. A cooperation-based approach towards the Taliban, who are a reality and likely to remain so in the near future, should be adopted. This approach should include five components: border security, counterterrorism, economic cooperation, joint transnational engagements, and people-to-people contacts. The 2018 Afghanistan-Pakistan Action Plan for Peace and Solidarity (APAPPS) can be revised on the model of the Doha agreement between the Taliban and the US to address security and counterterrorism issues. Pakistan should also work towards economic cooperation with Afghanistan, including through regional economic projects and supporting the Afghan government's economic reform efforts. Joint transnational engagements and people-to-people contacts can help build trust and understanding between the two countries.
