Recognizing Excellence, Celebrating Performance

DSP proudly recognized and honored its branches for their outstanding performance and key milestones.

Champion Branches were acknowledged for maintaining zero PAR, reflecting strong discipline, teamwork, and commitment to portfolio quality. In addition, branches achieving an active client portfolio of more than 2,000 clients were recognized for building strong client relationships and contributing to financial inclusion across communities.

Shields were presented to the Champion Branches, while certificates were awarded to branches achieving the active client portfolio milestone. Both were presented by Mr. Asghar Ali Memon, CEO DSP, appreciating the dedication and consistent efforts of these high-performing teams.

Celebrating Strength, Inspiring Change

DSP recently commemorated International Women’s Day at the Nishat Hotel, Lahore, hosting a distinguished assembly of staff, Board Members, and key stakeholders from across the microfinance and banking sectors. The event served as a powerful platform for collaboration, bringing together industry leaders alongside the very clients whose lives are transformed through dedicated financial inclusion.

As part of the day’s strategic focus, Mr. Asghar Ali Memon, CEO of DSP, led an interactive session centered on leveraging staff insights to drive product innovation and refine portfolio quality. By enhancing these management frameworks, DSP continues to scale its outreach, ensuring more female entrepreneurs have access to the tools necessary for long-term economic empowerment. This commitment to institutional excellence was further bolstered by an expert-led session on gender inclusivity by Ms. Hafsa Sajjad, which equipped our teams to implement gender-sensitive practices and ensure equitable service delivery across all communities.

Mr. Tahseen, CEO of South Asia Partnership, delivered a compelling keynote address highlighting the broader women’s rights movement, reflecting on its progress, ongoing challenges, and the collective responsibility to sustain its momentum. His remarks underscored the importance of continued advocacy and community-level engagement to advance gender equality.

The celebration concluded on an inspiring note as clients shared their personal journeys of resilience and success. To honor these achievements and the tangible results of financial inclusion, Chairperson Ms. Naghma Rashid presented cash awards to outstanding beneficiaries, symbolizing DSP’s unwavering dedication to fostering independence and celebrating the strength of the women we serve.

An Iftar dinner was graciously hosted by Mr. Asghar Memon, CEO of Damen Support Programme, in honor of the organization’s dedicated staff, esteemed board members, valued representatives from various MFIs, and partner banks and financial institutions. The gathering was further enriched by the participation of selected clients, reflecting the organization’s inclusive approach and close engagement with its beneficiaries. Mr. Ramesh Singh Arora, Provincial Minister for Minorities Affairs, Punjab, also graced the occasion with his presence.
The gathering took place at Nishat Hotel Emporium Mall, bringing together individuals committed to driving impact and empowering communities. The evening provided a meaningful opportunity to connect, reflect, and celebrate the shared mission that unites everyone.

Strengthening Partnerships for Sustainable Growth

DSP had the pleasure of hosting Giorgio Bertinelli, Investment Analyst at Symbiotics, for a detailed on-site engagement focused on future funding opportunities. During the session, Mr. Asghar Memon, Chief Executive Officer, shared an overview of DSP’s governance framework, strategic priorities, institutional performance, and growth roadmap.

Mr. Bertinelli also met individually with Ms. Manal Bakhtiari, a Board Member, as well as with all Heads of Departments, to better understand their respective functions, systems, and key priorities. Discussions covered governance practices, operational structures, financial performance, major achievements, and expansion plans.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen collaboration and align on the path ahead.
