stem5 is a non-profit initiative working to rejuvenate Pakistan's public primary schools by delivering STEM lessons that encourage scientific thinking.
stem5 is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education initiative that engages science & engineering undergraduate students and young professionals to teach, motivate and inspire underprivileged kids in STEM via lessons and experiments. We recently concluded a series of computer coding lessons at the Government Higher Secondary School Khurrianwala in Faisalabad!
Students learnt coding basics by creating animations using Scratch. Special thanks to the school administration and teachers for their support.

University Model School, the first school under the stem5 initiative, recently hosted a science event supported by an IREX micro-grant.

stem5 reaches Faisalabad where our volunteers have conducted their first lesson at GPS Chak 206 in Sialwala village!
Children actively participated in class discussion and learned about the causes and implications of environmental pollution.

We recently concluded our first week-long Computer Coding Camp at UET Lahore. Around 50 children from schools in the vicinity learned coding basics by building animations and games using Scratch. Special thanks to the SUPCON Lab and EE Department at UET Lahore for hosting the camp.
