HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY
Today, buildings account for nearly 40% of all greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions worldwide, and that number is not expected to decline in the near future. With the growth of developing economies in other parts of the world, and people moving from rural to urban areas, it is estimated that we are building the equivalent of a New York City every month across the globe. Allow that to sink in—a New York City every month! This is a staggering statistic.
