The Federal Board of Revenue has confirmed that:

💰 Cash deposited directly into the seller’s bank account will be treated as payment through banking channel under Section 21(s) of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 — even if the buyer does not have an NTN.

✅ No disallowance of business expense in such cases.
💼 This is a major relief for businesses dealing in cash-based transactions and high-value sales.
