The Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority (PERA) has opened new employment opportunities by announcing fresh recruitment in its Para Force. The drive aims to strengthen field operations by hiring a large number of personnel from across Punjab, ensuring fair representation through district-wise allocations.

Under this recruitment campaign, PERA will induct 500 individuals for Grade-7 roles as sergeant drivers. The authority has set clear eligibility criteria to ensure capable and skilled candidates are selected.

Applicants must be young and energetic, falling within the age bracket of 18 to 25 years. A minimum educational requirement of Intermediate has been specified, along with a valid Light Transport Vehicle (LTV) driving license.

The selection process will focus on both physical fitness and practical skills. Candidates will be required to pass physical endurance assessments as well as driving evaluations to demonstrate their suitability for the role. Officials stated that these tests are designed to ensure safety, discipline, and efficiency within the force.

Interested applicants are required to submit their applications through the National Application Service online portal. PERA has advised candidates to carefully complete the application process and upload accurate information to avoid disqualification.

The last date to apply for these positions is January 15. Authorities encourage eligible candidates to apply on time, as these positions offer an opportunity to serve in a disciplined force while contributing to law enforcement and regulatory duties across Punjab.

Assistant Commissioner Faisal Ismail martyred in targeted bomb blast

In a heartbreaking incident on Wednesday, Assistant Commissioner of Nawagai Tehsil, District Bajaur, Faisal Ismail, was martyred when his official vehicle was targeted by an IED near the Sadiqabad Phatak area. The brutal attack also claimed the lives of Nawagai Tehsildar, a Subedar, and a police constable.

Faisal Ismail was widely respected for his intelligence, humility, and dedication to public service. An alumnus of Cadet College Kohat and NUST, he entered the civil bureaucracy through the PMS exam and served across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with distinction.

As Assistant Commissioner of a sensitive border region, he shouldered immense responsibilities, from maintaining law and order to resolving tribal disputes and coordinating vital development efforts alongside security forces.

The cowardly attack has been condemned by political leaders and civil society alike, with calls for urgent action to apprehend the perpetrators and strengthen security measures in the tribal districts. Meanwhile, security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a full-scale investigation, though no group has yet claimed responsibility.

Faisal Ismail’s martyrdom is being mourned across the province and beyond. His service and sacrifice stand as a poignant reminder of the risks faced daily by those striving to uphold peace in Pakistan’s most volatile regions.

Letter to All Who Faced Failure in CSS 2024

I am writing to you not as someone who merely observes your pain, but as someone who has lived it. I know exactly how it feels when failure makes you doubt your own worth when you look in the mirror and see a "loser" reflected back, when people around you, knowingly or unknowingly, start treating you as less capable, simply because of an exam result. I know the ache of comparing yourself to those who succeeded, the heavy hopelessness that creeps in, and that silent pain you carry because no words seem enough to explain it.

I have walked this road. When I failed CSS in 2021, I was stunned not just by the result but by the sudden shift in how people behaved. Friends went quiet, conversations faded, and I felt the cold reality of how society often measures a person’s worth through success in an exam. That day, I learned a hard truth: success matters in the eyes of the world, but even more, I learned how important it is to understand the rules society plays by.

I remember the date. It was 30th September when the result was announced. The very next morning, I was back in the library, tears blurring my notes as I studied again. I made a firm decision: it was either my second attempt or nothing. I would not go for a third. I gave everything I had to that second attempt: my time, energy, heart, and soul. Alhamdulillah, I succeeded. But let me tell you this with all honesty: I also had a Plan B ready because I knew I didn’t want to stretch beyond my second chance.

CSS, after all, is just an exam — no more, no less. Please, take it as such. I say this with the weight of experience behind my words: if this door closes on you, there are countless others waiting to open. Don’t let this failure settle into your bones so deeply that you forget, your life is bigger, brighter, and longer than any single setback.

If you are still serious about your goal, start preparing again, but this time, with the right guidance and renewed strength. And most importantly, let Allah be your guide and companion in this journey. You are not alone. Remember, sometimes many things have to go wrong before they finally go right.

May Allah ease your pain, strengthen your resolve, and open new doors for you.

سی ایس ایس 2024 میں ناکامی کا سامنا کرنے والے تمام افراد کے لیے

میں آپ کو ایسے شخص کے طور پر لکھ رہا ہوں جس نے اسے جی لیا ہو ۔مین جانتی ہوں کہ جب آپ آئینے میں دیکھتے ہیں اور دیکھتے ہیں کہ "ہارنے والا" شخص واپس جھلکتا ہے تو ناکامی آپ کو اپنی قدر پر شک کرنے پر مجبور کرتی ہے ، جب آپ کے آس پاس کے لوگ ، جان بوجھ کر یا نادانستہ طور پر ، صرف امتحان کے نتائج کی وجہ سے آپ کے ساتھ کم قابل سلوک کرنا شروع کردیتے ہیں ۔میں اپنے آپ کا ان لوگوں سے موازنہ کرنے کا درد جانتی ہوں جو کامیاب ہوئے ، بھاری نا امیدی جو اندر داخل ہوتی ہے ، اور وہ خاموش درد جو آپ کے ساتھ ہوتا ہے کیونکہ اس کی وضاحت کرنے کے لیے الفاظ کافی نہیں لگتے ۔

۔جب میں 2021 میں سی ایس ایس میں ناکام ہوی تو میں نہ صرف نتیجہ سے بلکہ لوگوں کے رویے میں اچانک تبدیلی سے حیران رہ گئی ۔دوست خاموش ہو گئے ، بات چیت ختم ہو گئی ، اور میں نے سرد حقیقت کو محسوس کیا کہ کس طرح سماج اکثر امتحان میں کامیابی کے ذریعے کسی شخص کی قدر کی پیمائش کرتا ہے ۔اس دن ، میں نے ایک سخت سچائی سیکھی: دنیا کی نظر میں کامیابی اہمیت رکھتی ہے ، لیکن اس سے بھی زیادہ ، میں نے سیکھا کہ معاشرے کے اصولوں کو سمجھنا کتنا ضروری ہے ۔

مجھے تاریخ 30 ستمبر کو نتائج کا اعلان کیا گیا تھا ۔اگلی ہی صبح ، میں لائبریری میں واپس آئی ، جب میں دوبارہ پڑھ رہی تھی تو میرے آنسو میرے نوٹ دھندلا رہے تھے ۔میں نے ایک فیصلہ کیا: یہ یا تو میری دوسری کوشش تھی یا کچھ بھی نہیں ۔میں تیسرے 3 attempt کے لیے نہیں جاؤں گی۔ میں نے اس 2nd attempt کوشش میں اپنا سب کچھ دیا: میرا وقت ، توانائی ، دل اور روح ۔الہمد اللہ ، میں کامیاب ہوی ۔لیکن میں آپ کو پوری ایمانداری کے ساتھ یہ بتارہی ہوں: میرے پاس پلان بی بھی تیار تھا۔

سی ایس ایس ، آخر کار ، صرف ایک امتحان ہے-مزید نہیں ، ۔پلیز ، اسے اس طرح لے لو ۔میں یہ اپنے الفاظ کے پیچھے تجربے کے ساتھ کہ رہی ہوں: اگر یہ دروازہ آپ پر بند ہو جاتا ہے ، تو بے شمار دوسرے دروازے کھل جاتے ہیں اس ناکامی کو اپنی روح میں بسنے نہ دیں کہ آپ بھول جائیں کہ آپ کی زندگی کسی بھی دھچکے سے بڑی ، روشن اور لمبی ہے ۔

اگر آپ اب بھی اپنے مقصد کے بارے میں سنجیدہ ہیں ، تو دوبارہ تیاری شروع کریں ، لیکن اس بار ، صحیح رہنمائی اور نئی طاقت کے ساتھ ۔اور سب سے اہم بات یہ ہے کہ اللہ اس سفر میں آپ کا رہنما اور ساتھی بنے ۔آپ اکیلے نہیں ہیں ۔یاد رکھیں ، کبھی کبھی بہت سی چیزیں آخر کار ٹھیک ہونے سے پہلے غلط ہو جاتی ہیں ۔

اللہ آپ کے عزم کو مضبوط کرے اور آپ کے لیے نئے دروازے کھولے ۔
