The Punjab Tourism Development Corporation (TDCP) has completed a tourist resort worth more than Rs20 million in Cholistan, some 70 kilometers distant and adjacent to the famous Derawar Fort.

The resort is now finished in time for the 18th annual desert jeep rally, which will be held in Cholistan in February 2023.

The Punjab government has set aside Rs 2 billion to begin construction on phase II of the 1,000-bed Lahore General Hospital (LGH) on Ferozepur Road, near to the Arfa Karim Tower.

The 120-kanal plot formerly occupied by the Kot Lakhpat Fruit and Vegetable Market has been proposed for five high-rise designated buildings in the hospital’s new mega project.

The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) held a meeting on Monday to discuss the development of Regional Development Plans (RDP) and peri-urban structural plans for the district’s tehsil headquarters.

It was resolved that if the regional development plan and urban planning were to be integrated, the coordination committee and the RDA would be notified.
