Some fathers carry their children in their arms. Some carry them in their hearts across a world that wasn’t built for either of them.
This Father’s Day, we celebrate fathers with disabilities who show their children every day what strength really looks like. And fathers like Soomar, who never gave up on giving his son Muharam the independence he deserved.

For Muhammad Nadeem, a wheelchair assembler at the NOWPDP Wheelchair Manufacturing Unit in Korangi, Hilton Pharma's support has meant more than a job. Four people learned to drive, and run a business, before they ever owned a rickshaw. Today, that training paid off.
At the Bank Alfalah Islamic Rickshaw Handover Ceremony, four persons with lower limb disabilities received the fully retrofitted, accessibility-adapted rickshaws they trained for. Not loaned. Not leased. Owned outright.
No more rent eating into their income. Just dignity, independence, and a livelihood they built with their own hands.
