Clean and Green Mirpurkhas: Empowering Youth, Nurturing Nature
Led by Naveen Raj, a board member of ImpactGen, and funded by the YES Program Pakistan at AJ Science College, this groundbreaking initiative is cultivating environmental responsibility among young people. The project has mobilized volunteers and students to plant over 250 trees in Mirpurkhas, pledging to nurture them and advance a greener future. By emphasizing the crucial role of plants in our lives, this collective effort strives to build a sustainable and eco-friendly community, inspiring a brighter tomorrow for future generations.

ImpactGen Gilgit Chapter recently organized an amazing awareness session on climate change at Karakuram Public School, Sakwar Gilgit. We are proud to have had the Youth Empowering Council and the Youth Rise Initiative as our supporting partners for this event. The project was led by Ali Mughal, with ImpactGen member Aiman actively participating as a volunteer in the management team.

Thanks to the leadership of Gilgit Chapter head Ali Mughal, the engaging contributions of all the speakers, and the support of the principal of Karakuram Public School, the event drew over 50 enthusiastic students. The interactive session was filled with engaging activities, making it a fun and informative experience for all as we explored the pressing issue of climate change. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the school administration, Youth Rise Initiative, and ImpactGen for this incredible opportunity to inspire and educate the next generation of leaders.
