The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), founded in 1852, is the oldest engineering society in United States. ASCE was formed to enhance the quality of life through the advancement of professional knowledge and by improving the practice of Civil Engineering. ASCE received its first student chapter charter in 1989 and has since been one of the most active organizations in the college of Engi
neering. Our Chapter is associated with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). It's membership is open to all engineering students currently enrolled in Civil and Environmental Engineering, Architecture and Geo-informatics as well as those seeking Civil Engineering careers in Military College of Engineering. The Executive Board of Officers is making diligent strides towards enhancing our student chapter activities. Areas of focus include: membership recruitment and retention, increasing the chapter's presence in community service projects, working with local schools on math and science education, and becoming more active at the Regional and National level. National University of Sciences and technology (NUST) Society of Civil Engineering builds leadership, character, high values, and careers. We provide students the opportunity to apply and learn important civil engineering concepts through design projects, community improvement through service, fund raisers, conference events, job fairs, bridge building competitions, expos and opportunities to meet professionals, find internships and attain various scholarships and fellowships for future studies.
