Parda Panel Screen: by Amjad Bashir

We’ve always used “parda” as a way of shaping space. Guests arrive and suddenly the room needs a boundary. A corner becomes private. A passage becomes softer. Not permanent, just intentional.

I made the Parda Panel Screen as a movable wall. A screen that doesn’t block a room, it edits it. It lets light through. It keeps calm in.

Because sometimes privacy in our homes was never built, it was hung.

Parda Mirror Panel: by Amjad Bashir

A mirror in a Pakistani home is never just a mirror. It’s the last check before leaving. It’s fixing a dupatta. Straightening a collar. It’s wedding mornings and everyday mornings in the same frame.

I made the Parda Mirror Panel to hold that ritual without making it heavy. Carved like an old panel, but used like a modern object.

A mirror that feels like it belongs, even when the room changes around it.

Parda Wall Cabinet: by Amjad Bashir

There’s a kind of storage Pakistanis understand. Not display. Not ‘open shelving.’ Things kept close, behind a door, where the room can breathe.

I made the Parda Wall Cabinet like that. A piece that sits on the wall and holds what you reach for daily: keys, letters, small papers, the things that collect without asking.

The lattice isn’t decoration. It’s how light enters without showing everything.

Parda Headboard Panel: by Amjad Bashir

We grew up with rooms that changed shape at night. A dupatta pulled across a doorway. A chadar hung to soften light. A corner made private without building a wall.

I made the Parda Headboard Panel to carry that feeling into the bed. Not loud. Not themed. Just carved calm. Something that holds the room together the way our homes always did: with texture, shadow, and quiet boundaries.

A headboard that feels like a backdrop. Not a statement. A shelter.

Daftar Book Tower: by Amjad Bashir

In school days, books were never “styled.” They were stacked. Moved. Borrowed. Returned. Sometimes tied with a ribbon, sometimes kept in a plastic bag when rain came.

I made the Daftar Book Tower for that honest way books live with us. A vertical place for the books in use: the ones you’re studying, revising, underlining, keeping near your hand. It doesn’t turn books into décor. It simply gives them a home. So the room stays calm, even when your mind is full.

Daftar Shelf: by Amjad Bashir

Every Pakistani home has had some version of it: a small shelf with the Qur’an, school books, a dictionary, a few important papers. Not arranged for show, just placed where you can reach them.

I made the Daftar Shelf with that same intention. A simple ledge for the things you keep returning to. The books you’re reading slowly. The notebooks you’re still inside. It holds weight without feeling heavy. It keeps your room clear, but keeps your work close.

Daftar Drawer Unit: by Amjad Bashir

We all grew up with storage that had a personality: a steel almirah, a wooden cupboard, a drawer that held “important things” and nobody touched without asking. Bills, certificates, old diaries, spare keys, that one file you can’t lose.

I made the Daftar Drawer Unit as a modern version of that. Quiet storage for the overflow that comes with real life. Paperwork. Stationery. Files. The small clutter that makes a room feel busy. It keeps the extra things out of sight, so your space can feel light again, and your work can breathe.

Daftar Desk: by Amjad Bashir

In Pakistan, work was never only “office work.” It happened on the dining table after lunch. On a charpai pulled near the window. On a small writing table in the corner where files stayed stacked and quiet.

I made the Daftar Desk for that familiar rhythm. A steady surface that doesn’t feel corporate. A desk that feels like home, where thinking can take its time. Two drawers for the real-life mess: receipts, letters, notes, chargers, a half-finished list. Space on top for a notebook, a cup of chai, and the kind of work you return to every day.

Saawan Rings Plinth: by Amjad Bashir

In Pakistan, monsoon changes the relationship with plants. Everything grows. Clay pots darken. Leaves look freshly washed.

I made the Rings Plinth as a quiet base for that life. A low piece that doesn’t compete, it just holds. Wood carries seasons inside it. Plants carry seasons around them.
Saawan Rings was meant to let both exist in the same room, without noise.

Saawan Rings Bench: by Amjad Bashir

There is a certain kind of monsoon quiet, when the room feels heavier, calmer, more still.

I made the Rings Bench to hold that weight. A long slab. A live edge. Grain that runs like a memory. It’s not a decorative bench. It’s the kind of bench you sit on without thinking: tying laces, waiting near a doorway, resting for a minute.

In Saawan, that minute becomes longer.
