یہ واقعہ انتہائی افسوسناک اور شرمناک ہے، جو غیرت کے نام پر ہونے والے ظلم کی عکاسی کرتا ہے۔ شیتل اور زرک کی قربانی ہمیں یہ یاد دلاتی ہے کہ محبت اور رشتوں کے بارے میں ہمارے سماج میں کتنی غلط فہمیاں موجود ہیں۔ صحیح معنوں میں نکا ح اس وقت ہوتا ہے جب دونوں فریق خوشی سے اس میں شامل ہوں۔ یہ بھی ضروری ہے کہ رشتے میں دونوں کی دلچسپی اور ذہنیت کا میل ہو تاکہ زندگی کی راہیں آسان ہو سکیں۔ غیرت کے نام پر قتل کی ایسی
واقعات کو روکنے کے لیے شعور اور تعلیم کی ضرورت ہے۔

جب غلط تعلقات جب چلتا ہے اس وقت غیرت کہا مرا ہوتا ہے اور جب غلط کام جو کرتے یے اور غلط طریقے سے کماتے
ہیں اس وقت غیرت کہا مرجاتا ہے بلکل غلط کیا ہے

تربیت گھر میں ہونے چاہیے
معاشرے میں گندگی نہ کرے

اُٹھ اے بشر! کچھ تو جاگ،
اندھیروں سے نکال، سچ کا چراغ۔

*اندھی سماج، بڑھتا ہوا ظلم*

جب ایک معاشرہ سچ اور انصاف سے منہ موڑ لیتا ہے، تو وہ خود اپنی تباہی کی راہ پر گامزن ہو جاتا ہے۔ جب لوگ ظلم کے خلاف آواز بلند کرنے کے بجائے خاموشی کو ترجیح دیتے ہیں، تو ظالم مزید طاقتور ہو جاتے ہیں اور مظلوم مزید دب جاتے ہیں۔ اندھا سماج وہ نہیں جو دیکھ نہیں سکتا، بلکہ وہ ہے جو دیکھ کر بھی نظر انداز کرتا ہے — کبھی خوف کی وجہ سے، کبھی مفاد کی خاطر، اور کبھی لاپرواہی کی بنا پر۔ جب تک ضمیر کی آنکھیں نہیں کھلتیں، انصاف کی روشنی نہیں پھیل سکتی۔

A heartfelt thank you to Mir Ghazanfar Sheb and his family for their warm hospitality on this blessed Eid. It was an honor to meet with such a distinguished personality who has dedicated so much to the progress of Hunza and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Mir Ghazanfar Sheb, the former Governor of Gilgit-Baltistan and the last ruling Mir of Hunza, played a crucial role in the development of the region. Under his leadership, Hunza witnessed mega projects, zero-load shedding, and full mobile connectivity—achievements that transformed the lives of the people.

We cannot talk about Hunza's development without mentioning Mir Ghazanfar Sheb and Rani Attiqa Sheb. Rani Sheb has been a pillar of women's empowerment, creating opportunities for women in business and employment.

A special thanks also to Prince Shehryar Sheb and his family for their generosity and kindness.
