Students from the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Engineering and Computing, Mr. Faique Javed Abbasi ( BSAI-8th) secured First Position in Poster Design Competition and Mr. Usman Ali (ADC-2nd) secured 2nd Position in E-Gaming in SkillVerse 2025, a Multi University Competition Event arranged by National Skills University, H-8, Islamabad today.

NUML Computer Science Society successfully organized an insightful Cybercrime Seminar for 7th & 8th-semester CS and AI students, featuring Ayyaz Khan from Air University Islamabad.

Advancing Technical Expertise in Mobile App Development

The Department of Computer Science, NUML successfully conducted the Mobile App Development Workshop – Spring 2025, focusing on equipping students with industry-relevant skills in modern app development frameworks and best practices. This interactive session provided participants with hands-on experience, fostering innovation and preparing them for the evolving demands of the tech industry.

The Department of Computer Science at NUML successfully organized Taqwa: The Blessed Way of Living, an inspiring and thought-provoking event featuring esteemed guest speaker Dr. Moiz Ullah Ghori. The event attracted a full auditorium of enthusiastic participants, eager to engage in a meaningful discussion on the essence of Taqwa and its role in leading a righteous and fulfilling life. Dr. Ghori’s insightful talk captivated the audience, providing valuable wisdom and practical guidance on incorporating Taqwa into daily living. The event’s success was a testament to the department’s dedication to fostering both academic and spiritual growth among students.

As part of their academic exposure to state-of-the-art AI research and industry practices, the BS Artificial Intelligence (7th / 6th) semester students from Department of Computer Science paid a visit to the National Centre of AI (NCAI) on March 5, 2025. The purpose of the visit was to improve the student's comprehension of real-world AI applications and new developments in the field.
The NCAI representatives formally welcomed the students and faculty and summarized the center's goals, research projects, and contributions to advancing artificial intelligence in Pakistan. After that, the students were given a guided tour of several research labs where they saw ongoing robotics, computer vision, machine learning, and natural language processing projects. The center's experts showcased real-world AI applications, including AI-driven data analytics, smart healthcare solutions, and autonomous systems.
