Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan, the father of Pakistan’s atomic weapons program, passed away earlier today. The nuclear scientist was 85 years old and would be given a state funeral. His funeral prayers will be held at Faisal Mosque Islamabad at 3:30pm.

Legendary Actor, King of Comedy and One of the biggest comedian of Pakistan, Umer Sharif passed away in Germany at the age of 66. The Karachi based star was born on April 19, 1955 in an Urdu speaking family.

Famous novelist and literary figure Tariq Ismail Sagar passed away today. He wrote 65 Novels and 23 Drama serials. Some of his famous books are Commando, Watan ki Mitti Gawaah Rehna, Maen ik Jasoos Tha, Janam Jali, Crack Down, Lahoo Ka Safar and Dhuen Ki Dewaar.

Pakistani Woman lawyer Nida Usman Chaudhry has won the renowned Justitia Award 2021 in the international academic category of Austria. She holds LL.B (Hons) and LL.M in Law & Development from the University of London.

Rahimullah Yousafzai, award-winning journalist and expert on Afghanistan affairs passed away due to cancer at the age of 66. He had interviewed Osama bin Laden and Afghan Taliban leader Mullah Omar.

Pakistani wrestler Inam Butt has won the gold medal in the final of the World Beach Wrestling Championship 2021. Inam Butt Wrestler defeated Ukranian wrestler and won the match by scoring 3-0 within the 90Kg category.
