Telecom Foundation continues to strengthen a culture of professionalism, integrity, and accountability across the organization.
In line with the vision of the President & CEO, the Foundation's EVP HR & Admin, Ms. Atifa Ahsan, successfully organized a focused training session on “Workplace Ethics and Professional Accountability” at the Foundation's Hytham Sina Smart Digital Auditorium.
The session was conducted by industry and academia specialist Dr. Zonaib Tahir, who shared valuable insights on ethical conduct, professionalism, integrity, and responsible workplace practices. Dr. Zonaib brings extensive academic and professional expertise, holding a PhD in Management Sciences from Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3, France.
Attended by senior and middle management, the session emphasized the importance of fostering a respectful, responsible, and growth-oriented work environment while reinforcing high professional standards across the organization.
A meaningful initiative towards ensuring a workplace culture where ethics and professionalism are not only encouraged — but practiced every day.

What happens when young girls are not just taught technology, but empowered to lead it?
Today, on International Girls in ICT Day, Telecom Foundation proudly celebrates not just a global initiative, but a mission we actively bring to life across our schools nationwide.
This year’s celebration was graced by Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Minister for IT & Telecom, who delivered a compelling address at the NIC Islamabad today on the transformative role of IT, AI, and digital innovation across healthcare, education, industry, and governance. She emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to building a digitally inclusive Pakistan where public services are faster, smarter, and accessible to all.
At the heart of her message was a powerful call to action, enabling women and girls through meaningful access to IT and AI platforms. She also highlighted the importance of supporting female-led startups and engaged directly with young innovators as they shared their entrepreneurial journeys.
On this occasion, Ms. Atifa Ahsan, EVP HR, Admin & Social Welfare at Telecom Foundation, shared how, in line with the Ministers and the Foundation leadership's vision, TF through IT and coding labs has transformed an all girls school in one of the world's largest underprivileged areas of Orangi Karachi as well as actively embedding AI technology across its schools nationwide. She also highlighted Pakistan’s No. 1 AI powered Astronomy Lab, located at Telecom Foundation School Islamabad, as a proud symbol of the implementation of that vision and its role in advancing the Digital Pakistan vision.
