🎉 Proud Moment for iVision IST!

We’re thrilled to share that ‘SkyScan’, an innovative project by iVision researchers Laraib Khalid and Muhammad Haseeb (Computer Science) & supervised by Dr Ali Irteza secured 3rd Position at the prestigious 2nd AI Innovative Ideas Competition (AIIC 2025) organized by the Artificial Intelligence Technology Centre (AITeC). 🏆

This flagship national competition received over 100+ submissions from leading universities across Pakistan including NUST, FAST and others. Only 16 outstanding projects were shortlisted for live demonstrations and evaluation by industry experts — and SkyScan rose to the top!

👏 Congratulations to Laraib, Haseeb and Dr Ali Irteza for this remarkable achievement!

IST's extremely popular week-long Summer Camp for kids on 'Artificial Intelligence & Robotics' by iVision is back. It will happen on 14-18 July 2025.

Specially designed for kids aged 8–15 (approx), this camp is the perfect place to spark creativity and explore cutting-edge technology. Kids will be divided into groups based on age and activities will be customized accordingly. During the camp, kids will be introduced to the amazing feats of AI & Robotics using interactive learning and fun filled activities. Kids will also get to design their robots via hands-on training on robotics kits.

We are proud to share that Ms. Faryal Aurooj Nasir, a PhD student at iVision IST, has won the National 3MT (Three Minute Thesis) Competition held during COMPECC '25 at NUST!

In this highly competitive event, researchers are challenged to present their complex research in just three minutes to a non-specialist audience — and Faryal delivered with clarity and impact.
Her research focuses on developing a robust mechanism for military aircraft detection in satellite imagery under the supervision of Dr. Khurram Khurshid.

A big congratulations to Faryal on this outstanding achievement! 👏🚀
