Today we lost a great mountaineer, Shah Dowlat. He dedicated his life and hard work to the mountains and to climbing. His passing is not only a great loss to our mountaineering community, but his absence will be deeply felt across all of Pakistan.
May his soul rest in peace and may his legacy continue to inspire future generations of climbers.

I respectfully request the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan to declare chipursan Valley a disaster-affected area and to initiate immediate relief and rehabilitation activities.
Recent earthquakes have caused severe hardship for local communities, resulting in significant damage to homes, loss of livelihoods, and the closure of vital access routes. As a result, many affected families are currently living in tents in extreme cold conditions, facing serious risks to their health and safety.
I earnestly appeal to the relevant government departments, disaster management authorities, and humanitarian organizations to conduct urgent assessments and provide immediate assistance, including shelter, medical aid, and long-term rehabilitation support.
Swift and coordinated action is essential to alleviate suffering and restore dignity to the people of chipursan Valley.
