First snowfall of the year in uplands

Chitral: Since last evening it was raining sporadically almost every part of Chitral. Now it has turned into snowfall in uplands. This happens to be the first snowfall of the year.

The valley of Yarkhun , Mastuj, Rech and other areas have received snowfall, and the chill has also come with snowing.

Road to Upper Chitral is cut off for both vehicular traffic and pedestrians

Reshun: The sole road, was already in precarious stage, to upper Chitral at Shadaer Reshun has finally cut off after further erosion with increasing water flow in the river.

The forthcoming situation, in case of further erosion on the road site, was repeatedly raised and requested from different quarters on both social and print media but no attention it received.

Now land road to Upper Chitral at Shadaer is cut off from both vehicular traffic and pedestrians, and it is more than difficult to reconnect it here again.
