On 28th February SIG held a hands-on workshop on managing airway trauma. Attendees learned and practiced endotracheal intubation techniques, and the way about tracheostomy, procedure steps and the post care method. They learned the chest tube placement to manage thoracic trauma with proper insertion and care. Can’t wait to see you guys on more such workshops!!! 🎊🎉🏅

The Research Wing held its first session of the year, “Peer Reviewed (Student Edition): From Concept To Publication” on a systematic review and meta-analysis, led by our student-authors. They discussed their published article and walked us through the process of a systematic review and meta-analysis from conception to publication. This session also launched our Meta Analysis Marathon, setting the stage for an exciting year of research, learning, and collaboration! 🚀👑

SIG Presents: Peer Reviewed (Student Edition) + Meta-Analysis Marathon 📄🔍

Join us for an immersive, student-led research session featuring Syed Ibrahim & Abrahim Durrani (Batch of 2028), as they present their peer-reviewed, published paper and discuss their individual journeys from topic conception to final publication.

Following which, we will officially launch our Meta-Analysis Marathon, a hands-on initiative where eligible participants will work on surgical meta-analyses under the mentorship of experienced researchers from the SIG Research Core. Whether you’re new to research or looking to level up, this is your opportunity to learn by doing!

Note: Attendance in the Peer Reviewed session is mandatory to be eligible for participation in the marathon
