This past weekend was truly something special.

We brought together a room full of people who share a real excitement about the future of AI and business.
The biggest shift happening with AI right now is that people are no longer interested in theory. They want to know what teams are actually doing, what’s practical, what’s changing workflows, and what’s just noise.

That’s exactly what we wanted No Excuse AI to feel like.

It was not a typical workshop or another AI meetup, but a transparent look at how the RipeSeed team is using AI every day across operations, marketing, sales, and creative work. Our team shared how AI is changing the way they manage clients, communicate, build systems, and deliver work, along with the practical lessons they’ve learned along the way.

70+ people showed up, shared ideas, asked tough questions, challenged each other’s perspectives, and stayed until the very end, which honestly showed us how needed these kinds of practical and open discussions around AI really are.

Huge shoutout to our incredible team for pulling this all together so quickly and executing the entire event seamlessly.

It was a truly rewarding weekend for all of us.

April 2026 marked our biggest month yet for open source contributions. Our team opened 30+ PRs and got 15 of them merged across projects like Google's Gemini CLI, Open Mercato, Plane, AFFiNE, Apache​ Superset, ComfyUI, Zulip, Inc. (2012-2014), LibreChat, Rocket.Chat, TriliumNext & MUI X.

All of these are actively used tools and systems, and our contributions focused on fixing real issues, from cross-platform bugs and validation flows to authorization handling and UX improvements.

Great work by Ahsan, Abdul Rehman, Zaki Ur Rehman, Ahsan Khaleeq & Muhammad Usman Ramzan for pushing these valuable open source contributions this month.

Modern backends almost always rely on external APIs—payments, messaging (SMS/WhatsApp), maps, identity providers, shipping services, or even LLMs. The moment you integrate with these services, you also inherit their instability: outages, latency spikes, throttling, and unpredictable behaviour.

No matter how well your own system is designed, you have zero control over the reliability of third-party vendors. External APIs can derail your backend.

This is exactly where the Circuit Breaker pattern comes in. It is one of the most effective architectural tools for preventing external failures from spreading and taking down your entire backend.
