In Celebration of 63rd CatSU Foundation Anniversary

“Get ready to strategize, outwit, and conquer the board! ♟️ Join us for an intense battle of minds at the CASUNEA chess tournament on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, the event starts at 9:30 AM at the CatSU Lobby in the Main Building."

ELIGIBILITY AND FORMAT:
- Open to all CatSU Students and Employees
- Free registration
- Five (5) Rounds Swiss System with Twenty-five (25) minutes no increment Rapid time control
- The tournament shall be governed by the current FIDE Laws of Chess under Rapid System

PRIZES:
- CATEGORY A- Students, Champion 1,500.00 php, 2nd place 1,200.00 php, 3rd place 1,000.00 php, 4th place 700.00 php and 5th place 500.00 php

- CATEGORY B- Employees, Champion 1,500.00 php, 2nd place 1,200.00 php, 3rd place 1,000.00 php, 4th place 700.00 php and 5th place 500.00 php
