Rainy days always make the kitchen feel a little...quieter.

The kind of day where all you hear is the rain outside, the hum of the mixer, and the tiny strokes of a paintbrush bringing a cake to life.

No shortcuts. No printed patterns. Just buttercream, a paintbrush, and steady hands (well, kind of. haha)

Every tiny brushstroke, every vintage detail was painted by hand-- one layer at a time. It's the kind of process that takes longer than most people realize, but it's also the part I enjoy the most. It takes patience, but there's something comforting about slowing down and letting the process unfold.
