SEA Green Coffee Competition

The 3 day event has concluded and I'm glad to say it was a huge success!

"To our distinguished guests, coffee farmers, processors, traders, roasters, baristas, entrepreneurs, researchers, development partners, industry stakeholders, and to all our coffee enthusiasts, coffee aficionados, coffee purists, coffee connoisseurs, brew masters, bean lovers, and passionate coffee advocates from across the Philippines and Southeast Asia, welcome to Bukidnon.
Welcome to the SEA Green Coffee Competition – Philippines National Round and the Bukidnon Coffee Festival 2026.
Today, we gather not only to celebrate coffee, but to honor the hard work, dedication, and passion of the farmers, processors, roasters, entrepreneurs, researchers, and advocates who continue to strengthen the Philippine coffee industry.
It is a great privilege for Bukidnon to host this prestigious national event, bringing together some of the finest coffee producers and industry stakeholders from across the country. Through this competition, we showcase excellence, encourage innovation, and inspire our farmers to pursue higher quality standards that can compete not only in the Philippines but throughout Southeast Asia and the world.
Coffee is more than a commodity. It is a source of livelihood, a driver of rural development, and a symbol of hope for many farming communities. Here in Bukidnon, we recognize the immense potential of coffee to create jobs, increase incomes, protect our environment, and position our province as the Coffee Capital of the Philippines and a globally recognized origin for premium coffee.
This event also reflects our commitment under the Bukidnon Coffee Roadmap 2025–2035, a shared vision of building a globally competitive, sustainable, and inclusive coffee industry that benefits every stakeholder along the value chain—from our farmers and cooperatives to processors, roasters, traders, and consumers.
To all our participants, judges, partners, sponsors, guests, and members of the coffee community, thank you for being part of this historic gathering. May this festival and competition strengthen partnerships, promote learning, encourage innovation, and open new opportunities for our coffee communities.
Together, let us celebrate the excellence of Philippine coffee and continue brewing a brighter future for our farmers, our communities, and our nation.
Welcome to Bukidnon, welcome to the SEA Green Coffee Competition, and welcome to the Bukidnon Coffee Festival 2026.
One Bukidnon. One Coffee Roadmap.
Together, we brew the future.
Thank you and maayong buntag sa tanan".
