The United States-led Pax Silica initiative could generate up to ₱180 billion in annual revenues and create nearly 200,000 jobs for Filipinos once it becomes fully operational within the next ten years.

The BCDA also estimates that the project could generate ₱68 billion to ₱75 billion in annual tax revenues for both the national government and local government units.
Pax Silica is a U.S.-led partnership that aims to strengthen global supply chains for critical minerals, semiconductors, artificial intelligence infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, energy, and logistics.
