Today, we proudly celebrate the 50th National Intellectual Disability Week with hearts full of gratitude and unity! 💙💛

Our dedicated teachers, supportive parents, and amazing SNED learners came together for a meaningful and empowering activity that highlighted inclusion, collaboration, and community spirit.

This celebration reminds us that every learner has unique strengths, talents, and limitless potential. Through understanding, acceptance, and support, we continue to build a more inclusive and compassionate society for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Ngayong linggo, nakikiisa ang National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA) sa paggunita ng ika-30 National Autism Consciousness Week (NACW) na gaganapin mula Enero 19–25, 2026, na may temang:

“Mula Kamalayan Tungo sa Gawa: Pag-unlad ng Autism-OK Philippines.”

Layunin ng pagdiriwang na palalimin ang kaalaman ng publiko tungkol sa autism upang matiyak ang mas angkop, maagap, at inklusibong pagtugon sa pangangailangan ng mga taong nasa autism spectrum at kanilang mga pamilya.

SPED Learners sa Umingan, Pangasinan nagpakita ng kakayahan sa paggawa ng kandila.

Behind the Scene of "HandAble Creations". We created a brand name for these kids who thrived to work hard, to compete with the fast growing market of Umingan.

Nagsimula sa Do It Yourself na mga gamit, hanggang makabili ng tamang kagamitan sa pagkakandila. Putol putol na flower designs dahil hindi controlled ang lakas. Balikong mga candle wick, nayupi na tin cans, mga pangkulay na gamit ay maliliit at maduduming crayons.

Hindi man kasing perpekto ang mga gawa niyo sa ibang kandila, ang makitang happy kayo sa bawat kandila na nagagawa niyo ay sapat na para saming mga teachers ninyo.

You make us proud mga ate and kuya of the Transition Program. Di namin lubos akalain na mammeet natin ang goal na makagawa ng kandila bago sumapit ang Undas.
