The 𝐓𝐢𝐰𝐢 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 proudly held its 𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒖𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑪𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑻𝒖𝒓𝒏-𝑶𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒅 on May 02, 2026, at the Tiwi Community College Court, with the theme: “Rising Through Leadership, Guided by Honor, Driven by Excellence”

The program began with an Invocation led by
𝐂/𝐂𝐏𝐓 𝐁𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐄𝐎𝐒 𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐖𝐈𝐄 𝐎 𝟐𝐂𝐋, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem conducted by 𝐂/𝐋𝐓𝐂 𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐎 𝐌𝐈𝐂𝐊𝐇𝐀 𝐌𝐀𝐄 𝐂 𝟏𝐂𝐋. Next was the Reading of the Oath of Allegiance to the Philippines, led by 𝐂/𝐋𝐓𝐂 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐄 𝐉𝐎𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐄 𝐂 𝟏𝐂𝐋

𝗠𝗿. 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗼 𝗥. 𝗗𝗮𝗲𝗳, 𝙉𝙎𝙏𝙋 𝘾𝙤𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧, delivered the Welcome Remarks and conducted the Presentation of Candidates for ROTC Graduation.The Declaration of Graduates and the Turn-Over of newly enlisted Reservists to the 504th Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (RRIBn)—consisting of 47 advance officers and 321 basic cadets and cadettes—was led by
𝐂𝐎𝐋 𝐍𝐎𝐄𝐋 𝐀 𝐂𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐒𝐀𝐍 𝐆𝐒𝐂 (𝐈𝐍𝐅) 𝐏𝐀. This was followed by the Acceptance and Oathtaking of the new reservists, officiated by 𝟐𝐋𝐓 𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐋 𝐁 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐄𝐋 (𝐑𝐄𝐒), 𝐄𝐗𝐄𝐂𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐑, "𝐁" 𝐂𝐨𝐲, 𝟓𝟎𝟒𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐁𝐧.

A key highlight of the ceremony was the Relinquishment of Command by 𝐂/𝐂𝐎𝐋 𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐋 𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐘 𝐋𝐘𝐍 𝐁 𝟏𝐂𝐋, 𝙊𝙪𝙩𝙜𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙥𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧 , and the Assumption of Command by 𝐂/𝐂𝐏𝐓 𝐂𝐑𝐔𝐂𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐎 𝐋𝐄𝐎 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐊 𝐂 𝟐𝐂𝐋, 𝙄𝙣𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙥𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧.

𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐂. 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐨 municipal kagawad, delivered an inspiring Keynote Address, followed by the Awarding of Certificates to outstanding cadets and cadettes.

The program formally concluded with the mass singing of “Pilipinas Kong Mahal.”

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒|| The Tiwi Community College Reserve Officer Training Corps Unit (TCC-ROTCU), under the supervision of 𝐂𝐎𝐋 𝐍𝐎𝐄𝐋 𝐀 𝐂𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐒𝐀𝐍 𝐆𝐒𝐂 (𝐈𝐍𝐅) 𝐏𝐀, successfully conducted the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2026 on April 24, 2026, at the Tiwi Municipal Terrace.

The inspection was led by RAATI Chairperson 𝐋𝐓𝐂 𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐍𝐈𝐒 𝐀 𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐎𝐒 𝐆𝐒𝐂 𝐈𝐍𝐅 𝐏𝐀, the RAATI team carried out a thorough and comprehensive evaluation of the TCC ROTC Unit. This inspection aimed to assess the cadet officers’ skills, training efficiency, administrative capabilities, and overall effectiveness of the unit’s training program.

Through the full engagement and support of the TCC Administrative Staff, the TCC ROTC Unit Training Directorate, and the exceptional dedication of the Cadet Officers, the inspection was conducted seamlessly and professionally.

The following activities were evaluated:

• Battalion Ceremonial Parade
• Inspection in Ranks
• Close Order Drill
• Comprehensive Exam
• Map Reading
• M16 Rifle / Cal. .45 Pistol Disassembly and Assembly
• Raid and Ambush
• First Aid / Basic Life Support
• Silent Drill

Each component demonstrated the unit’s preparedness and competence—clear indicators of the cadets’ discipline, mastery, and tactical proficiency.

Program Proper highlighting inspiring messages from local leaders, including Tiwi Municipal Mayor 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐥 𝐂. 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐨, as part of a collaborative inspection with the affiliated schools such as Amando Cope College (ACC), Zamora Memorial College (ZMC), Daraga Community College (DCOMC) and IDSC —promoting the true spirit of Honor, Patriotism, and Duty.

The unit achieved a RAATI score of 90.487, reflecting the efforts, months of preparation, and strong sense of discipline demonstrated by the officers, trainers, cadets, and cadettes. This accomplishment shows the teamwork, commitment, and sacrifices made to meet the standards of the inspectors. The event concluded with the proclamation of results and the distribution of tokens and certificates.

April 9, 2026 — In observance of the 84th Anniversary of Araw ng Kagitingan, the TCC ROTC Unit stood in formation and marched with purpose during Lakad Kalayaan 2026, commencing at the Old Airport, Legazpi City, Albay.

With the theme, “Ang bawat hakbang pasulong ay pagpupugay sa mga hindi kailanman umurong,” every stride echoed discipline, honor, and unwavering patriotism. The activity concluded at Bicol University, Legazpi Campus, with the participation of different ROTC units across Albay, serving as a solemn tribute to the gallantry and sacrifice of our fallen heroes who fought with courage for the nation’s freedom.

“Train Hard, Serve with Heart.”

The TCC ROTC Unit successfully conducted its 9th and 10th Training Day of the second semester SY: 2025-2026, highlighting discipline, teamwork, and commitment among cadets.

A warm welcome was extended to former Corps Commander ASN John Solomon C Narvaja PN during his visit to the headquarters. His successful completion of the six-month Sailor Basic Course (SBC) “MASINLAYAG” Class 75 served as an inspiration to all cadets. Present during the recognition were Mr. Litor R. Daef, NSTP Coordinator, and TSg Cardaño, Chief Clerk.

At 0800H, Sgt Trixie Rose C Saligao PA (Res), Graduate Military Assistant (GMA), conducted a lecture on followership and its essential roles. Subsequently, Sgt Jude German Cellona PA (Res), delivered a lecture on Signal Communication, followed by practical exercises and field drills to further enhance the cadets’ knowledge and skills.

The training concluded with final instructions from C/COL CHERRY LYN ARCANGEL 1CL, Corps Commander, who commended the cadets for their cooperation, discipline, and active participation.

The TCC ROTC Unit successfully conducted its seven and eight training day of the second semester, with cadets

"𝑬𝒏𝒅𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒆𝒇𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒕 𝒕𝒐𝒅𝒂𝒚, 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒑 𝒔𝒖𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒕𝒐𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒐𝒘.”

The day began with an inspection of cadet officers, followed by the arrival of basic cadets at 0700H and the customary flag ceremony. Basic facing movements, and commands, then proceeded to a lecture by 𝗦gt 𝗘𝗹𝗮𝗵𝗷𝗲𝗲 𝗕 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝘀 𝗣𝗔 (𝗥𝗲𝘀) on Army Role Disaster Management.
The TCC Medics Responders conducted a bandaging demonstration, teaching cadets the proper use of triangular bandages followed by practical exercise, 𝗖/𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗬 𝗟𝗬𝗡 𝗕 𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗟 1𝗖𝗟, 𝘊𝘰𝘳𝘱𝘴 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳, expressing gratitude for their cooperation. At 0400H, all cadets, and were formally dismissed demonstrating a strong desire to learn, improve, and grow.
