PRRM–Rizal, Kinilala Bilang Accredited NGO ng Lalawigan ng Rizal

RIZAL, Philippines — Pormal nang kinilala ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Rizal ang Philippine Rural Reconstruction Movement – Rizal Chapter (PRRM–Rizal) bilang isang accredited non-government organization (NGO) ng Lalawigan ng Rizal.

Inaprubahan ang accreditation matapos dumaan sa deliberasyon ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan ang aplikasyon ng PRRM–Rizal, kasama ang mga dokumento at kredensyal na nagpapatunay sa kakayahan at mahabang karanasan ng organisasyon sa pagsusulong ng kaunlaran sa kanayunan, pangangalaga sa kalikasan, at pagpapaunlad ng komunidad.

Sa pamamagitan ng accreditation na ito, kinikilala ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ang PRRM–Rizal bilang isang mahalagang katuwang sa pagbuo at pagpapatupad ng mga programa at inisyatiba na naglalayong mapabuti ang kabuhayan, kapaligiran, at pangkalahatang kaunlaran ng mga pamayanang rural sa lalawigan.

Isang masigabong pagtanggap at suporta mula sa mga miyembro ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan ang ibinigay sa PRRM–Rizal sa araw ng pag-apruba ng kanilang aplikasyon, bilang pagkilala sa potensyal ng organisasyon na makapag-ambag sa patuloy na pag-unlad ng Rizal.

Ayon sa mga kinatawan ng PRRM–Rizal, ang accreditation ay isang mahalagang hakbang upang higit pang mapalakas ang kanilang pakikipagtulungan sa pamahalaang panlalawigan at sa iba pang sektor ng lipunan sa pagpapatupad ng mga programang nakatuon sa sustainable rural development.

Ang PRRM ay isang kilalang organisasyon sa bansa na matagal nang nagsusulong ng mga programang pangkaunlaran sa kanayunan, kabilang ang community development, environmental stewardship, sustainable agriculture, at grassroots empowerment.

Sa pagkilala ng Lalawigan ng Rizal, inaasahang lalo pang mapapalawak ang mga proyektong maghahatid ng pangmatagalang benepisyo sa mga komunidad sa buong lalawigan.

𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆! 🦜🌿🌏

Every year on March 3rd, we join the global community to celebrate the beauty and diversity of our planet’s fauna and flora. Today serves as a reminder of the role wildlife plays in our ecosystem and our responsibility to protect it.

This year’s theme is medicinal and aromatic plants, fitting with this photograph by Keanu Sitjar where a colasisi or Philippine hanging parrot enjoys nectar from a banana blossom.

However, as we celebrate, we must also confront a sobering reality. Many species - especially our vibrant and intelligent parrots - are facing a battle for survival. Despite our best efforts, they remain at high risk due to the devastating effects of global warming, climate change, and pollution.

Even more urgent is the threat of poaching and the illegal wildlife trade. Every bird taken from the wild is a loss to our natural heritage and a blow to biodiversity.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽:

🦜𝗦𝗮𝘆 𝗡𝗢 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲: Never purchase wildlife. A "wild-caught" bird is a stolen life.

🦜𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆: If you witness suspicious wildlife sales online or in local markets, contact the DENR or local wildlife authorities immediately.

🦜𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸: Donate or become a member, and join communities who are monitoring wildlife, bringing back forest, and more.

🦜𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀: Education is our strongest tool. Share the stories of these birds to ensure their songs are heard.

Let us not just celebrate wildlife; let us protect it this World Wildlife Day and beyond.

Suportado ng PRRM-Rizal ang makabagong hakbang ng DENR para sa mas maayos at napapanatiling pamamahala ng ating kagubatan! Sa pamamagitan ng DAO 2025-22 at ng Sustainable Forest Land Management Agreement (SFLMA), mas pinatatatag ang seguridad sa panunungkulan, nalilikha ang libo-libong green jobs, at napapalakas ang climate resilience ng bansa. || The DENR modernizes forest management to boost investments and climate resilience. 🌲💼🌳

Through DENR Administrative Order (DAO) No. 2025-22, the agency introduces the Sustainable Forest Land Management Agreement (SFLMA). This unified system provides up to 50 years of tenure security and streamlines approvals to create thousands of green jobs while advancing global sustainability goals.

This reform transforms the country's tenure landscape by replacing six fragmented instruments with a single transparent agreement. By opening forest lands to cooperatives, people's organizations, and private partners, the SFLMA ensures a fairer and more accessible future for environmental stewardship.
