A surprise visit from a good friend and fellow athlete, Aaron.

Competing alongside each other during the Muaythai Association of the Philippines regional and national competitions over a decade ago is something I'll always appreciate. It was great catching up, exchanging lessons from years of training, coaching and life beyond the gym.

I'm also grateful to Aaron for referring me to the existing BJJ team in Rizal (Rizal School of Jiujitsu), a connection that has become an important part of my Jiu-Jitsu journey.

P.S. Sorry we couldn't catch up longer last week. I had to head out and pick up all the mats for our General Assembly since it was already getting late. I owe you one, kaibigan 🙏
