Your OFW mom, dad, ate, or kuya didn’t just pack toothpaste, corned beef, and chocolates.
They packed sleepless nights, body aches, homesickness, and a thousand “I miss you’s.” 🥹

So before you say,
“Ay, bakit ganito lang laman?”

Remember: they worked under the sun, rain, or cold just to send that box home.

Be thankful. Be content. Wag na magreklamo. 🙏
After all, that box isn’t just full of things.

it’s full of love, sacrifice, and a one-way ticket back to their family’s happiness. 💙

To Parents Whose Kids Are Joining the Sept. 21 Protest at Luneta Park.

When our children choose to stand up against corruption and failed projects, it can make us both proud and worried.

Instead of stopping them, let’s guide them. 💡
✔ Listen first – ask why they want to join and what they hope to achieve.
✔ Talk about safety – remind them to go with friends, share their location, and stay away from trouble spots.
✔ Know their rights – teach them the value of peaceful protest and responsible action.
✔ Stay connected – ask them to message when they arrive and when they head home.
✔ Debrief later – let them share what they saw and felt.

Supporting them doesn’t mean spoiling them — it means raising a generation that fights for truth safely and wisely. ✊🇵🇭

The proposed protest at Luneta is potentially a powerful statement: it ties together historical memory, current frustration, and a demand for change.

If done well, it could:
Raise awareness and put pressure on officials to act seriously — not just with investigations but prosecutions, reforms, restoration of damages.

Amplify the voices of people who are directly affected by floods and by failed projects — letting them be heard.

Remind the public and government that infrastructure is not just about bricks and concrete — it's about lives, homes, safety, dignity.

However, protests come with risks and challenges, especially when children are involved.

Heartbroken by the news of Charlie Kirk’s passing. 💔

Whether you agreed with all his views or not, you can’t deny that Charlie stood with courage and spoke boldly for what he believed was true. His death is a reminder that life is fragile, truth has a cost, and we must not let hate or violence have the final word.

As a Christian, I choose to respond with prayer — for his family, for healing in our divided world, and for the courage to keep speaking truth with love. 🕊️
