A day of love, a different kind of love.

Today is Valentine’s Day — a day the world celebrates love.

And as I stand here, I realize that love is not only found in sweet words, flowers, or perfect memories.

Love is staying.
Love is choosing someone, even when it’s hard.
Love is forgiveness.
Love is patience.

My father was not a perfect man.
We had our laughter, and we had our struggles.

There were days when we did not understand each other.

There were seasons that tested our relationship.

But he was my father.

And I was his son.

In his last days, I saw a different side of him — a quieter man, a softer man.

And in those moments, I understood something:

Love does not always shout. Sometimes, it just remains.

From 2019 until his final days, I stayed by his side.

Not because it was easy.

But because love does not walk away.

This Valentine’s Day, I offer my love not in roses…

but in remembrance.

Not in chocolates…
but in gratitude.

Thank you, Tang, for the life you gave me.

For the lessons — even the hard ones.

For the strength I carry today because of you.
