With pride and honor, on 24 April 2026, the Northwestern Mindanao State College of Science and Technology (NMSCST) Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Unit successfully achieved a near-perfect rating of 99.90% during the RAATI 2026 Inspection.

This remarkable accomplishment reflects the unit’s unwavering discipline, dedication, and commitment to excellence in training and leadership. It also highlights the strong guidance of the training staff and the collective hard work of every cadet who contributed to this success.

This milestone stands as a testament to the unit’s continuous pursuit of excellence and its readiness to serve the nation.

Congratulations to NMSC ROTC UNIT for achieving an outstanding 𝟗𝟗.𝟗𝟎% rating in the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2026. The inspection was conducted on April 24 at the NMSCST Quadrangle, highlighting the unit’s exemplary performance and commitment to excellence.

The Northwestern Mindanao State College of Science and Technology (NMSCST) Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Unit conducted its 13th and 14th Training Day on 18–19 April 2026 at the ROTC Ground, Barangay Labuyo, Tangub City, Misamis Occidental, where cadets drilled with intensity and precision under the leadership of CPT APOLLO C DOLLOSO PA (RES), Assistant Commandant, and Sgt Arnel A Dela Torre (OS) PA, Admin NCO, with direct supervision from MAJ MARC ANTHONY S ACLO (CE) PA, Director of the 903rd Community Defense Center, alongside the ROTC Coordinator, Training Staff, GMA’s, and Advance ROTC Officers.

The activity began with the formation of ROTC cadets and cadettes, followed by the flag ceremony and headcount to ensure proper accountability of personnel. The day’s training focused primarily on preparations for the upcoming Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI), a significant evaluation that measures the overall performance, organization, and training standards of ROTC units.

To strengthen readiness and ensure compliance with inspection standards, cadets participated in a series of structured training activities conducted at the ROTC Ground and designated classrooms. These sessions were designed to further enhance military discipline, leadership, and knowledge while reinforcing the core values expected of ROTC cadets.

The activity reflects the continued commitment of the NMSCST ROTC Unit and the 903rd Community Defense Center in sustaining quality ROTC training and in shaping responsible, disciplined, and service-ready members of the reserve force.

The Northwestern Mindanao State College of Science and Technology (NMSCST) ROTC Unit carried out its 11th and 12th Training Day on 11-12 April 2026 at the ROTC Ground, Barangay Labuyo, Tangub City, Misamis Occidental. On 09 April 2026, the Northwestern Mindanao State College of Science and Technology (NMSCST) Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Unit participated in the "Lakad Kalayaan" and flag-raising ceremony in celebration of Araw ng Kagitingan, the activity was headed by MAJ MARC ANTHONY S ACLO (CE) PA, Director of the 903rd Community Defense Center (CDC), together with the personnel of Philippine Army, Philippine National Police, Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine Army Reservists, and the Advance Officer and Basic Cadets of NMSCST ROTCU, TCGC ROTCU, and MU ROTCU, held at Tangub City Plaza, Tangub City, Misamis Occidental.

Today, we honor the gallantry of the heroes of Bataan and Corregidor, whose selfless sacrifices paved the way for the freedoms we cherish today. Their legacy of courage serves as the very foundation upon which our citizen army stands.
